Solstice Targa at the New York Show?

Hopefully it will get better gas mileage than the current Solstice. I think that is the one thing that is killing sales.

Gas mileage isn't hurting sales as much as the complete lack of storage space (who wants a weekend roadster that cannot hold enough clothes for a weekend?) compared to the Miata.

Looks to have new rims, that is needed. Good Find, very happy to see the first real pic of this car, since I have been waiting since 2002...I hope at the show, we are able to see it with the top on and off.... now I am going to light a candle for the G8 coupe...

Looks great... makes a lot more sense as a hardcore sports car than a delicate wind-in-the-sky roadster that competes against the Miata. It will be safer and more practical, too.

How about a track-ready Solstice Targa GT3 with a semi-roll cage, Portiasche? :P

Ya, i'm surprised they let something like this slip. I was trying to dig a little more for some hidden websites but had no luck.

The ST and the GXP had links like this for their images (1 through 5)

I tried replacing the G8 and GXP with Solstice_1.jpg and Targa_1.jpg

Who needs a Camaro? You're really only buying to prove to PCS that you would anyways, right? :P

PCS doesn't have anything to do with my purchasing decision. :AH-HA_wink: I prolong that discussion because it's just plain old fun to mess with the ol' Sasquatch. :smilewide:

I will say that the sole factors that would keep me out of the Camaro (until it would appear used somewhere later on) and into something else would be a highly bloated MSRP and very retarded dealers (i.e. some of the stories I've heard about the latest gen Mustang when it hit dealers; I remember a guy writing into Car & Driver, bitching about how dealers were restricting test drives to serious customers only, as if it were a frigging Lamborghini; and I've heard another about a dealer who was trying to push only the models he had on the lot, and they were fully-loaded GT models with about a five-thousand "market adjusted price" on top of that, wouldn't even let someone order their own car, which would come in a lot more cheaper).

I guess you must be secretly enjoying that Holden, Bigfoot. :smilewide:

By the way, was your syrup by Bob White or Aunt Jamima?

My friend this is just a PEP car, no more, no less. I'm going to enjoy calling you Mrs. Butterworth. :rotflmao:

Doesn't matter. Your attitude a few months ago sounded as if you were dead set on never setting foot near a Holden under any circumstances. Now look on your key rack. What car's keys will be there for next couple of days? :smilewide:

Reaping what you sow, that is how the saying goes. And I believe you have sown a (quite) small waffle plant of your own. Wonder what the harvest will bring? :AH-HA_wink:

As GME infiltrates Holden and it takes more and more control, my issues grow less and less. That statement alone should scare the Hell out of you. I'm going to enjoy watching you squirm Mrs. Butterworth, as you try to retreat and backtrack as to why you won't be able to in fact buy a new Camaro. I'm stocking up on popcorn, I think you're going to make for some great entertainment, as you try to squirm your way out of the Camaro in the months to come. :deathwatch:

I'll leave it at this: I see I might have stricken some sort of nerve with PCS. He, however, fails to because I've grown desensitized to his campaign over his tenure here. And I know there are sane minds within GM that will make whatever effect he and Mr. Forster & Co. has on the Camaro, G8 ST, and the other Zetas slow moving. I don't question the fact that deck is becoming so stacked to the point where they will wind up as artifacts of the better side of GM that will more than likely forever lay dormant, but there are a small handful more of them coming in the near future, so, yes, by all means let's all enjoy the Zeta cars and what show they manage to put on for us during their time among us. :)

And by the way, PCS, I've had my microwave on the whole time. Mr. Redenbacher makes a mighty good bag, I gotta say. :AH-HA_wink:

I don't think there are any waffle House's north of Delaware on the east coast. SuperSport623 lives in New York.

Surely he has traveled outside of his own state at least once in his life. :P

Well, then again, he doesn't live in KY like I do, so he doesn't have as good as an excuse to get out more often like I do. :smilewide:

I really need to re-evaluate what state I live in. When Delaware and KY jelly are sharing Waffle Houses, it's time to move north 1 mile into Pennsylvania, where there's not a waffle House to be seen. :smilewide: Although I heard a rumor there is one or is going to be one in Lancaster or Reading. God help them.

I thought you couldn't stand all of us "Yankees" up here.
