picture posting tutorial

Recommended Posts

to post images on this site is not too hard, but if you were never told, you would never know

Image hosting on imageshack

first, open the imageshack site herehttp://www.imageshack.us/

it says browse, click there and find the file of the picture you would like to post

then click host it and a list of URLs will appear, the bottom one is the direct link URL to the image,

copy the direct link to the image and save it in a document on your computer so that you will not have to return

posting an image from image shack onto c&g

open the c&g website and create the reply or new topic window that you wish,

at the top of the window for the actual text of the reply there is a tool bar,

on it it says
B I U FONT v SIZE v COLOR v Close all Tags
http:// IMG @ QUOTE CODE

Click on the image button and the window will appear to paste in th direct link URL to your picture,

there will already be an "http://" in the window, you need to make sure it is deleted because the direct link URL will already include this

paste in your URL and press enter,

preview your post to make sure that it works, here is a sample pic

Hey there, we noticed you're using an ad-blocker. We're a small site that is supported by ads or subscriptions. We rely on these to pay for server costs and vehicle reviews.  Please consider whitelisting us in your ad-blocker, or if you really like what you see, you can pick up one of our subscriptions for just $1.75 a month or $15 a year. It may not seem like a lot, but it goes a long way to help support real, honest content, that isn't generated by an AI bot.

See you out there.
