This idea has come up in the past, and it's a good one that has credibility to it...

Change #1

Fo the time being we are going to have the sketch and chopping competitions linked togther. By this we mean that they will share a common objective, as opposed to different ones. For example: Both compeitions will focus on designing a new car for flagship model for Buick. This way things will, ideally be more simple for us, and give designers who want to participate but aren't choppers, the ability to sketch their design out, and vise versa.

With this being said, I'd like to ask the following:

What would C&G members think of holding an additional competition, known as the C&G Design Competition, which would feature and allow submissions from all artists of all backgrounds, computer-aided or with pen and paper?

Now, for those who have voted, and also for those who haven't...

Would you like to cancel all competitions and continue with only a Design Competition, keep all three around, or keep just the Design Competition and a Choppin' Competition?

The Design Competition will probably be monthly (like the Sketch Competition) whereas the Choppin' Competition would be every two weeks and fresher.

Give me your final thoughts and ideas soon so we can finalize everything and get this rollin' next month!

It depends on how the comps are run--will entries be screened before posted? I can definitely see making the comps more accessible and streamlining that, but I wouldn't want the "impressive" nature of the comps diluted by a newb who draws like a toddler. Just my $0.02

This would have to be reviewed. I would be for this, but I find it unfair to not accept poorly drawn/rendered/chopped submissions. We could, however, limit this to two entries per member and prohibit submissions that do not meet size requirements (as posted in the first post of the contest).
