2008 Ford Five-Hundred

Featured Replies

Looks... uh awkward. Still should offer bench seats, but does not.

I agree on the bench seat part too, at least for the SEL trim level, and to envelope Taurus buyers (ditto Fusion) who might be turned off by that, or by those who want more room than an Impala.

It kinda reminds me of the old Infiniti M45. The Nissan Gloria Cedric Gertrude thing.

The 1st gen. M45 was elegant and had great proportions, this is just EFFIN UGLY!!!

Not bad, but it does look too 'tacked on'

Not to mention duct taping the Fusion grille on all of Fords cars is going to RUIN the appeal and freshness of the Fusion.

Ford, listen closely:

Fusion inspiration - YES

Fusion tack ons - NO!

Ford needs to get the Interceptor into production by the 2010 model year and use D3 strictly for crossovers. Sales of the Five Hundred will not increase, and I will be surprised if the MKS succeeds.
