Just to let anyone who might care know Pontiac's are still taking to the track in 2010.
Ken Black Racing will field two G6 GXP Summit Racing Pro Stock cars this season. These also are not last years cars But entire newly built Pro Stock cars.
Greg Anderson said they will keep with the Pontiac's still fully marked as Pontiac's and GXP's this year even without GM's Support since GM left the NHRA. Greg said they hope that GM will return soon back to NHRA and they hope to represent GM with a new car. It is common for teams to remove the badging as soon as the money stops. I noted Warren Johnson and his son both will also keep the GM cars on track this year too.
I could not find out but I wonder if Chevy may return to NHRA with the Camaro? Either way with the way they run Pontiac is still not done winning races and still might win another championship for the now gone brand.
I will poke around and see what else I can find out with some of my friends connected to the NHRA and GM teams.
Pontiac' s Will Still be Racing in 2010!
