Jaguar Land Rover Reports U.S. Sales For April 2014

• Jaguar Land Rover North America sales increase 19 percent in April, for its best April sales month result since 2007

• Land Rover brand has its best April sales month ever

• Best Range Rover and Range Rover Sport April sales month ever

• Jaguar sales up 22 percent for the year

• Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe goes on sale this month

(MAHWAH, NJ) – May 1, 2014 – Jaguar Land Rover North America today reported April 2014 U.S. sales: Land Rover sales reached an all-time April high of 4,533 units, up 28 percent from 3,543 units in April 2013; Jaguar sales were 1,035 units, down 9 percent from 1,141 units in April 2013, and up 22 percent with 5,750 units from 4,726 for the year. Jaguar Land Rover North America April U.S. sales for both brands hit 5,568 units, a 19 percent increase from 4,684 units in April 2013.

"Jaguar Land Rover had a solid April; it’s best since 2007,” said Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO, Jaguar Land Rover North America. “With the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe arriving in showrooms this month and the continued sales momentum of the Land Rover brand, we are in position for a successful month ahead.”

U.S. BRAND HIGHLIGHTS

Land Rover

The all new Range Rover Sport hit a record April high of 2,006 units, up 54 percent from 1,305 in April, 2013. The new Range Rover Sport has received multiple awards for its breadth of capability including Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road ‘4x4 of the year’ and Road & Track’s ‘Best Cars’ list in the SUV category.

The Range Rover, which was recently awarded the 2014 Polk Automotive Loyalty Award in the Luxury Full Size SUV category, had its best April sales month ever with 1,306 units, up 94 percent from 674 in April 2013. The Range Rover Evoque added 867 sales this month.

Jaguar

For the month of April, the Jaguar XF was the Jaguar volume leader with 418 units sold. The current MY XF lineup includes the new 2.0T model as well as all-wheel-drive and V-6 options. The Jaguar XJ added 369 units, up 14 percent from 323 units in April 2013.
