JAGUAR LAND ROVER REPORTS U.S. SALES FOR JULY 2014

  • Jaguar Land Rover North America sales increase 3 percent in July, for its best July sales month result since 2005
  • High performance models, Jaguar F-TYPE and Land Rover Range Rover Sport, drive sales growth
  • Land Rover brand has its best July sales month since 2005
  • Range Rover Sport July sales increase 115 percent
  • Jaguar F-TYPE lineup, now featuring Coupe and Convertible models, increase 47 percent for its best month since hitting market

(MAHWAH, NJ) - August 1, 2014 - Jaguar Land Rover North America today reported July 2014 U.S. sales: Land Rover sales reached 4,643 units, up 15 percent from 4,050 units in July 2013; Jaguar sales were 1,187 units, down 26 percent from 1,613 units in July 2013. Jaguar Land Rover North America July U.S. sales for both brands hit 5,830 units, a 3 percent increase from 5663 units in July 2013, and are up 11 percent for the year.

 

"Jaguar Land Rover in the U.S. had its best July since 2005 driven by our highest performance models, the F-TYPE, which had its best month ever, and the increasingly popular Range Rover Sport,” said Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO, Jaguar Land Rover North America.

 

U.S. BRAND HIGHLIGHTS

 

Land Rover

The all new Range Rover Sport had its highest July sales in 9 years hitting 1,614 units, up 115 percent from 752 in July, 2013. The new Range Rover Sport has received multiple awards for its breadth of capability including Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road ‘4x4 of the year’ and Road & Track’s ‘Best Cars’ list in the SUV category. For the year, the all new Range Rover Sport is up 44 percent.

 

Jaguar

For the month of July, the Jaguar F-TYPE lineup had its highest volume month since hitting the market in 2013 with 501 sales, up 47 percent from 341 units in July, 2013. The F-TYPE Coupe was introduced at the Los Angeles International Automobile Show in November and arrived in showrooms this summer.

 

For the year, the Jaguar brand is up 1 percent.
