Maserati North America, Inc. Reports Record Boost In Sales This November

  • Maserati opens the holiday season with strong success

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Maserati North America, Inc. reported its strongest November sales performance with a record (1,235 units) sold, signaling its twenty-second consecutive month of sales growth. This is the highest recorded November ever with a solid 206% increase versus 2013 year-to-date. One year after the Ghibli was successfully introduced to the North American market, sales continue to soar with Ghibli comprising of over 60% of North American sales for the Trident. As the brand's 100th Anniversary year nears its close, 2014 is proving to be its most significant with the most comprehensive and best-selling range in the history of the company.

"Maserati is well on its way to tripling its sales in North America over the past two years, which is a tremendous accomplishment as a niche luxury automotive manufacturer," says Peter Grady, President & CEO of Maserati North America. "Driving a Maserati is a sensory experience, and once prospective buyers feel the craftsmanship and hear the signature engine note our clients already know so well, they quickly become converts to the brand," continues Grady. Now a strong competitor in its class with viable offerings in new segments, Maserati continues to attract new customers.

This winter season, the new Ghibli and Quattroporte models continue to fuel the brand's rapid growth together with the continued appeal of the signature GranTurismo coupes and convertibles. Product enhancements such as added content and special trims are now available on the 2015 product line, and further distinguish Maserati in the marketplace with added Italian flair. Just in time for winter, the 2015 Ghibli is now offered with all-season tires on 19" wheels, reinforcing Maserati's unstoppable competitiveness.

WOW, "Now a strong competitor in its class with viable offerings in new segments, Maserati continues to attract new customers."

So until today they never were a competitor let alone a strong one? Interesting marketing speak. Someone really needs to get a proper writer doing these releases.
