The film is almost clear until voltage is applied on it when it turns dark. The level of darkness can be controlled at the touch of a button or turn of a dial. The crossover fever has really hit Buick as they claim "almost 90 percent of U.S." sales come from their utility lineup. So why not add another crossover to their lineup? Buick announced today the Encore GX which will go on sale early next year. Coming from China, the model will slot between the Encore and Envision. Not many details were provided aside from the cargo space being " almost 5 cubic feet larger than the Encore and about 3 cubic feet smaller than the Envision." The Toyota Venza only wishes it was anything nearly as good looking as the Enclave. Yet the article makes the awkward Venza seem luxurious enough to even compare to the Enclave. Buick's large crossover will get the sleek Buick Wildcat concept styling from the show car. The Enclave will sport the same slim "eyes" and large lower grille as seen on the Buick Envista, but scaled up for the Enclave's size. The Buick Regal GS has been one of the worst-kept secrets in quite awhile. We learned many of the key details such as the powertrain and how it would look months only a short time after Buick debut the Regal Sportback and Tourx. Today, Buick has finally unveiled the 2018 Regal GS and given out the juicy details. First up, the Regal GS will use a variant of the 3.6L V6 that powers a number of GM vehicles. Output is rated at 310 horsepower and 282 pound-feet of torque - an increase of 61 horsepower and a decrease of 13 lb-ft when compared to the turbo 2.0L used in the current GS. Saw my first 2007 LaX on the road this morning, a CXL with the new 17" 10 spoke wheel. What a difference nice wheels make!! BIG improvement. The car was silver so it wasn't one of the new colors Also, CARS.com has been updated for 2007 if you want to build your own. Just select any BUICK model on the main page and click build your new car button. Earlier this week, we reported that General Motors faced a difficult decision with the upcoming Envision crossover: Do they import it from China or build it somewhere else just for the North American marketplace? This comes at an interesting time since Reuters is reporting that Buick's future lineup will be comprised of vehicles imported to North America. Speaking with two sources, the news service reports that only two models in Buick's future lineup, the next LaCrosse and Enclave will be built in the U.S. The rest will be imported from other countries. I got my issues last night and I went to the back to see how the Buick did and it was rated around a 74 mid pack and CR found some "defects" in it and they couldn't see out of it, so basically it sucks. Oh yeah, and its a Buick so that's like -10 right there on the CR scale. More details tonight when I get home.

When the Buick Envision hits dealers in June, you'll only be able to get it in the two highest trims, along with a turbo engine and all-wheel drive. We first learned about this back at the Detroit Auto Show when speaking with a Buick representative and now we have more details. According to Automotive News, the 2016 Envision will start at $42,995 for the Premium I trim and $45,635 for the Premium II trim. Both prices include destination. I just read a couple of reviews of the new Buick Regal. Apparently GM invited journalists over to the Nurburgring to test drive it. There are some very, very positive comments on it that really have my hopes up for this car.
