Buick

Founded in 1903 by David Dunbar Buick, Buick is one of America’s oldest automobile brands and the oldest active division of General Motors (GM). Known for pioneering innovations like the overhead valve engine, Buick became a symbol of affordable luxury throughout the 20th century. It played a key role in GM’s growth and today positions itself between Chevrolet and Cadillac, offering premium vehicles in both the U.S. and China—its largest market.

The film is almost clear until voltage is applied on it when it turns dark. The level of darkness can be controlled at the touch of a button or turn of a dial. Each passenger can control the darkness of his window. The driver can have a master override to darken or lighten all windows if needed. In addition, the car can be engineered to for example automatically lighten glass when reverse is engaged or have different default darkness settings in the day and at night. This basical…

I voted for that option in the poll. Your thoughts and comments...

The Toyota Venza only wishes it was anything nearly as good looking as the Enclave. Yet the article makes the awkward Venza seem luxurious enough to even compare to the Enclave. In looks this thing is tanked and I don't see the Buick similarities (outside of the color) at all. *edit* maybe I can see it closer to the Signia Concept

The Enclave will sport the same slim "eyes" and large lower grille as seen on the Buick Envista, but scaled up for the Enclave's size. We expect the Enclave to receive the same 328 horsepower / 326 lb-ft of torque 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder found in the recently refreshed Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia. While the Enclave has been fully redesigned, it will continue to use an updated version of the existing C1 platform and be roughly the same size as the outgoing model. While the teaser sketches show a more rakish rear glass, the mules that have been spotted retain th…

Earlier this week, we reported that General Motors faced a difficult decision with the upcoming Envision crossover: Do they import it from China or build it somewhere else just for the North American marketplace? This comes at an interesting time since Reuters is reporting that Buick's future lineup will be comprised of vehicles imported to North America. Speaking with two sources, the news service reports that only two models in Buick's future lineup, the next LaCrosse and Enclave will be built in the U.S. The rest will be imported from other countries. At the moment, the Encore subcompact crossover is the only Buick model that is imported to the U.S. This will soon …

An interesting new test has shown that the interior of the Buick Lucerne ^_^ is quieter than the Lexus ES 330. Here is a direct link to the story, written by Anita Lienert. Since the test was between a Buick and a Lexus, maybe GM still intends Buick to be a rival to Lexus. And for those of you who doubt that portholes should only be used on a Buick (not the '07 Cadillac Escalade  ), here is a link to a story from this past March by Ms. Lienert.

We first learned about this back at the Detroit Auto Show when speaking with a Buick representative and now we have more details. According to Automotive News, the 2016 Envision will start at $42,995 for the Premium I trim and $45,635 for the Premium II trim. Both prices include destination. These models will feature a 2.0 turbocharged four-cylinder with 252 horsepower and all-wheel drive. Now if those prices scare you, don't fret.
