Got a real decent pair of '67 Firebird doors (these interchange straight up with Camaro) Very small, contained rot hole in the bottom jamb- can weld it up if you want/can't. Vent windows are there, too, good spare cores to stash in the rafters. Asking $250/pair (will separate). No shipping- limited local delivery possible.

http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1580593379.html I have unwillingly driven through Jackson County and I have seen this car in person before. Yes, it has a Z/28 hood. Yes, those are Trans Am fender vents. Yes, it looks like a huge Cheetos cheese puff. I wonder if this car would have looked better on some twenny-fo's. Also from the WTF? files I bring you another waste of a Monte Carlo: http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1583700793.html

"It's nice to see ya. It's been a long time ..." If you clicked the link, you'll see that it is a 1998 Chevrolet Camaro, in black, with LT-1 style taillights and I think it appears as if the Camaro plaque on the center stack has been moved in between the fog light switch and TCS delete panel. Call it a hunch, but I believe that is, in fact, my old Camaro. I think I'll call the lot up and ask if it's a five-speed car just to see if my suspicions are correct. Don't worry. I'm not buying it back. That car was worse than the fucking plague.

Link: http://cnj.craigslis...3106614244.html Seeing as how I really want a '55-'57 GMC, yesterday I jumped on the email and contacted the owner. I received a reply today, and unfortunately for me it is a 1955 1st series pickup (carryover 1954 model). I will admit that of the 1947-1955 style, the '54/'55 models are the only ones I like (non-split windshield and extra chrome surround around the stock grille). Here are the eight pictures the seller sent me: So, what do I envision this truck to look like if I were to buy it and put it all together again? This: However, I'm not sure I want to go for this truck (though the price is sure attra…

Linkypoo Attention car collectors or anyone who wants to ride in style. This car is priced to sell quickly at 3,000. NADA retail ranges from low of $3,038 to a high of $10,699 with an average retail of $7,830. The odometer only shows, 53k miles. Title indicates these are actual miles. Lack of wear and tear on the vehicles seems to support this. Cold AC and interior is clean. Tires are good, original hub caps are in excellent condition. Motor and transmission work fine. Flexible inserts around bumpers are in excellent condition. Body is excellent with no rust. There is some slight oxidation on the hood and roof. The vinyl top does need repair.

http://reading.craig...3293420447.html I've been watching this very interesting 1979 GMC Sierra. A little gawdy in the color (green), the hood, cap, rims, and front fender extensions all reek of '70s street performance. However, the biggest issue I have with this truck is the "Sierra Grande" trim. I don't believe this truck is a true representation of that trim, as it appears to have more equipment per that trim/package. I'm wondering if it's a true Sierra Grande with additional items put on during its last restoration, or if it is wearing the wrong emblems? I will try to contact the seller for a picture of the RPO Service Label to verify.

Saw this advertised in the local Auto Shopper magazine; went to the Red Cross Motor Pool just to check it out: 1985 Cadillac Eldorado Roadster, 98k, $1,950: Outdoors kept car, filler panels in rear cracked/need replacing, some bubbling (rust) on the doors and otehr areas, interior seat repairs needed, but overall a nice car to restore if into these. It may be a good deal for someone looking for such a clean example. This has been posted on and off on CL, likely not attracting any buyers at that price. I was in LOVE with these Suburbans back then. Especially two-toned like this blue & white one. If I had $2,500-$3,000 available, I'd make an offer. Definitely loving that color combo!!

Linkypoo I'd love to pick it up, but a 16 year old convertible with 150k+ on the odometer seems like an invitation for problems. Looks clean though, its too bad GM never bothered making another midsize convertible.

http://www.autoshopper.com/used-cars/1995_Oldsmobile_Cutlass_Supreme_Philadelphia_PA-3371380.htm V6, auto w/OD, 78,000 miles, p-seat, p-lcks, p-win, cruise, tilt, leather int., p-top, 2 dr, convt, $2,995. I've always wanted a '90s C/S Convertible, and the Holy Grail would be the '95 like this (and I even dig the red). Too bad I'm still under-employed and without a dime in the bank to spend on a "toy" car.

I found on Craigslist the following 1996 GMC Suburban SLT 4WD for sale at an attractive price ($1,195): http://southjersey.craigslist.org/ctd/2942513897.html I have been in contact with the dealership and verified that the price is correct and asked what they meant by needing "tlc". The price is correct and here is the reply about the TLC: "The car has 3 leaks: 1 transmission 2 Rear seal and 3 oil filter housing, The car runs good it just needs a little work." Like my desire for a 2-door Yukon, the GMC Suburban of the same vintage is equally desired by me. This would not be a daily driver, actually I don't know what I'd really use it for other than around town erra…

As seen from their weekly e-mail ad: If I was looking for a car, I'd seriously check this out. Heck, just for $hits and giggles, I may just take a look at it this weekend. olds 98.bmp

With the prices of the new vehicles I want being very high, I've begun to consider buying a used car that I could take a short term loan on and pay-off within two or three years tops. In the meantime, I would try to save up some extra cash to use as a down-payment on a new vehicle (so figure a 2011 or 2012 model, if I could hold off that long). In my searching, both online and reading the Auto Shopper Magazine, I found a 1999 Buick Riviera Supercharged Coupe at a Philadelphia Chevy dealer that appears to be fully loaded (CD/Cass, sunroof, heated seats, chrome rims, White Diamond Tricoat w/ Taupe leather, etc) with only 63K on it. The Auto Shopper ad states $6,750 and t…

They need titles... but that can be done. Both look sweet, in storage for 15 years. In Moorestown, NJ. I have no connection to this seller. http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/4254603099.html

This used car dealer, which is literally in my neighborhood, has posted 10 2001 Chevrolet Astro Cargo Vans for sale: http://minimemotors.com/vehicle/used-2001-chevrolet-astro-cargo-van-1112-wb-rwd-930981.cfml#ar_top Would the miles scare anyone away from purchasing one of these for local use???

The wife isn't crazy about the Riviera's design, especially the rear, and being a two-door doesn't help either (there's the pesky car seat that my little guy needs to use). So I decided that I should look into finding a 2002-2003 Buick Park Avenue instead. I found four that interest me - (3) 2002 PA's and (1) 2003 PA Ultra. I'm asking about the Ultra. Here it is: 2003 Park Avenue Ultra, 51k original miles, fully loaded (HUD, sunroof, chrome rims, leather/heated seats, etc.) and all for the low-low price of $9,499. My online research indicates that these are a pretty reliabel car and that the 3800 V6 is a great engine to have. Not sure about the supercha…

I've been looking at comfortable, cheap SUVs that I won't mind putting a ton of miles on due to a job duties change that is starting in 2015. I'll be driving back and forth between Pittsburgh and NJ twice a month... So I was looking at Rainiers and 9-7x since they can be had for cheap and some of them come with rear air suspension. (I've also been looking at MB GL350 CDIs with airmatic too.... because I'm a masochist apparently) In the process I found this: 2004 Buick Rainier GNX Prototype They claim it is a one-off that was sold at Barrett Jackson when GM went into Bankruptcy. It has a supercharged V8 (5.3??), Borla exhaust, and AWD. I can't seem to…

Back in 2005, and even now, this is the truck I would have killed for (especially since the sportside bed option was discontinued in 2004): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-SLE-low-miled-short-box-5-3-V8-locking-differential-and-4-wheel-drive-/290612783347?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43a9df28f3 I would have choosen either the dark blue metallic, stealth gray, or dark steel metallic exterior colors instead of black. Too bad this particular one wasn't closer to my home though...

So the wife and I were talking the other day about larger, family-oriented vehicles, and she asked why I never looked for a Yukon when I was shopping in March '10 (when I bought the '06 Envoy). A quick check of my GMC dealer's site finds me this: a 2008 GMC Yukon SLT 4WD nicely loaded but with 90k miles selling for $24k: http://www.burnsbuickgmc.com/VehicleDetails/used-2008-GMC-Yukon-4WD_4dr_1500_SLT_w%2F4SA-Marlton-NJ/1859871383 Would that many miles scare anyone away from purchasing this SUV? I'd have to go and see the truck in person to make sure the rest of the condition was good, but with that kind of mileage should I look elsewhere?

72 gmc pick-up 4x4 clean - $9200 (Levittown) http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/2302573649.html Pretty much my ideal '72 GMC pickup... though I'd want the two-tone white in the middle of the body. Looks great for an almost 40 year old truck, too bad it's way out of my price range.
