  7. Auction Insanity: Ray P. Lambrecht Collection 500 Cars From An Old Car Dealer In Nebraska – Trade Ins, Never Sold New Cars, More A small town Nebraska Chevy dealer took every unsold new car from every model year he was in business and just about every single car he ever took as a trade in and saved them all. Sounds cool, right? It is, especially when you know that there are 500 of these cars and they they’re all heading for auction at the end of August. According to the auction house the vast majority of these cars are original survivors that have not been altered much from their stock configuration. The truly wild angle on this thing is the quantity of new cars that wer…

Just looking at cheap cars when I came across this. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1390636264.html This is all well and fine. The "features" list is kind of funny, but the best bit is this at the end: I am assuming the fuel problem is preventing the battery from getting fuel correctly. I actually laughed out loud. I mean I know not everyone is a car person or a mechanic but it just sounded funny. I dunno...I need to get to sleep.

With the prices of the new vehicles I want being very high, I've begun to consider buying a used car that I could take a short term loan on and pay-off within two or three years tops. In the meantime, I would try to save up some extra cash to use as a down-payment on a new vehicle (so figure a 2011 or 2012 model, if I could hold off that long). In my searching, both online and reading the Auto Shopper Magazine, I found a 1999 Buick Riviera Supercharged Coupe at a Philadelphia Chevy dealer that appears to be fully loaded (CD/Cass, sunroof, heated seats, chrome rims, White Diamond Tricoat w/ Taupe leather, etc) with only 63K on it. The Auto Shopper ad states $6,750 and t…

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissan-300Z...d=p4506.c0.m245 As some of you may remember, when I was car shopping I considered a 300ZX but one with the Intrepid in the end. However I've always had a fondness for these and lately I've just really wanted one. They're my favorite 90's coupe.

  81. 14,000 original miles on this 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Regular Cab Z71 4WD Sportside: Craigslist ad: http://philadelphia....3079295887.html Dealer's site: http://www.woerths.c...0-SLE-4x4.shtml - For those that know me, this is the holy grail I've desired for so many years (dark blue would make this 100% perfect). This was the last year (2005) that GM offered the sportside bed option. This truck appears to be a very well-loaded model. 14,000 miles. I wish there was a way I could get this truck, even with the new '14s coming out I'd LOVE to own this one. I can't do a 3rd vehicle, nor can I replace the Envoy (family hauler) for this. Oh this sucks.... Anyone cl…

I am definitely a lover of all things GMC Trucks, but there are certain generations of pickups I desire to own. My most desired pickup generations include 1955-1959 (with an emphasis on '55-'57), 1967-1972, and 1973-1987. The '50s GMCs are just too darn expensive to restore, as not all parts are shared with Chevy Trucks (engines & transmissions from Pontiac with GMC truck parts used)... and the same could be said for the late '60s - early '70s trucks too, though more parts are now shared with Chevy Trucks. The killer for me with most of those two generations is the entry price to get one. The values on those trucks are steadily climbing. While at the AACA show He…

This really isn't a post about selling as much as a review but I figured this would be the best place to put it. I know I have discussed a few of these products in other threads (such as the rim wraps and Duplicolor paint kits) but I wanted to do a more comprehensive post on the available options out there since they do seem to be multiplying at an astounding rate. If you're interested check out my post entitled What's a wheel accessory and why do I care? Feedback of any kind is always appreciated and, if you read all the way to the end, there's a chance to get a prize (sort of a prize anyway). Thanks again and enjoy the warming weather!
