Guess the manufacturer: - One of their cars had a four piece rear window. (4 individual pieces of glass) - In the early 1950s they won the "Fashion Academy Award". - A post war vehicle made by this brand had front & rear fenders that were interchangeable. - One of their most recognizable cars featured a twin-port grille & super aerodynamic nose. - They made a car during the muscle car craze with a Fiberglass body & forced induction.

This car was one of the first mass produced vehicles to have headlight washers. The headlight washers came optional if you ordered the optional headlights & appearance pkg. Also in the same model year this vehicle had an optional "liquid tire chain" feature which was short lived but very revolutionary iin its day. What car/model year am I talking about?

This car was very rare and is considered a big $$ classic. Production was limited to four digits & the car was pretty pricey back when it was new although it was made by a brand known for value & frugality. Here's a few hints: - 350 cubic inch motor - 305 horsepower - 150mph speedometer

This monstrous vehicle has a very unique hood ornament & is motivated by a huge inline eight motor that is nearly 13 liters in displacement, it features OHC with 3 valves per cylinder & 24" wheels. Its engine was also used in trains due to its low RPM grunt. Can you guess the vehicle?

Okay here's another one of my crazy convoluted trivia questions. The car I'm thinking of has the following features. 1. it's a two door but not a coupe 2. there's a fixed B-pillar of sorts but not in the traditional sense 3. the rear windows roll down just like in a hardtop 4. To a casual observer it looks as if this car has 6 headlights 5. the manufacturer that made it is no longer around So who'll be the first to guess it?

There was an awsome looking "fastback" show car in the mid-1950s that featured a wheelbase & overall length in line with a 1930s car more so than a 1950s 2-door. It looked like a hardtop but was not although the rear side windows tilted out like a 1970s BMW. Also, the rear window was positioned more like a moonroof than a backlight and the tail lights look like afterburners. Name the car.

This car is widely considered to have the MOST brightwork of any vehicle ever made. It is both beautiful and gawdy at the same time and the model that replaced it was very clean and unique, thus it got flack for being too plain and yet also got much praise for it's instantly classic styling. What two cars am I talking about?

The 2006 Camaro concept has incredikble styling, almost all of us agree about that. But now see how well you've really looked at it. Other than the b-pillar delete, hardtop bodystyle the Camaro has an interesting styling element that is virtually non-existant on today's cars. One of the last cars to have it was a FWD Oldsmobile. If you skew the definition of this component you might say there was also an Acura which was made in both 2dr & 4dr body styles that had this too. What feature am I talking bout? ------ ONE LAST HINT: This feature was most prevailant from the mid 1970s to the mid 1980s.

Many of you might have been wondering about the 1959 Buick in my recent signature. Or perhaps none of you give a damn. Either way if you're still reading this here's the scoop. If you have searched for "1959 Buck" or "1959 Electra" on Google in the past 9 months or so you have no doubt seen a faded blue four door flat top 1959 Buick sittign in front of a long gray building. The car is for sale, asking price is $5900 and as if just so happens it is only about 130 miles away from me at a place called Goldenrod Garage. The home page for Goldenrod promisses "300 plus classic cars at all times in the inventory". A no-nonsense race car driver & antique car…

Chrysler introduced the soon-to-be-popular 383 CID version of its wedge-head "B" series engine for the 1959 model year. Interestingly, a 383 "B" engine was also available in the DeSoto and Dodge lines for that year. Anyone know what the one big difference was between the Chrysler 383 engine and the 383 used in DeSoto and Dodges (aside from the obvious things like engine paint or stickers on the air cleaner)?

In a recent issue of a Classic car mag (MT Classic or Hemmings) there's mention of how a Boat tail Riviera existed because Chevy could not build a 4-passanger Corvette. It's kind of a silly comparison but it made me think of a good trivia question. What car came out in the 1950s & was produced for almost two decades, was powered by a small V8 & had a styling feature that is now most often associated with the 1963 Corvette Stingray?

Second, the point totals are based on the entire board/group ... not individually. Third, the point tallys are simple (see below). PT VALUES (Jeopardy! and Multiple Choice rounds) + 1 for each response (regardless if it is correct or not ... thus, a "participation" point) + 3 for each correct response - 2 f…

Back in 1975, I test drove a brand new car that was powered from the factory by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that featured electronic fuel injection, stainless steel headers, 16 valves in hemispherical combustion chambers & dual overhead belt driven camshafts. The car had a hatchback and factory cast aluminum wheels (4-lug). Perhaps of most interest was the fact that this car was manufactured by a domestic manufacturer--one of the "Big 3-1/2". Anyone know what car I test drove on that warm & sunny day back in 1975?

The current issue of Collectible Automobile magazine features the (domestic) GM cars of 1959. I haven't seen the article yet but if it's at all like past efforts from this magazine, it should be pretty good. They frequently show photos of the prototypes as they evolve through time. The technical details are usually good too. I have almost all the issues of this magazine since its inception back in 1984. For anyone who likes old cars and trucks, this is a fine publication. I know it's available at most of the larger magazine racks like you find in Borders or Barnes & Noble book stores. On edit: I know this isn't a trivia question but I also know there are sever…

All right, ya'll, I have a question that's been nagging me for some time now and I haven't been able to come up witha concise answer, or theory. In the 1999 model year, why did Chevrolet and GMC drop the beloved 305 and 350 from their line up and move to the smaller 4.8 and 5.3 engines? I was looking through some GMC truck literature from the late 1950s and noticed that pickups were available with a 336 CID V8. The engine sure looks like a Pontiac V8 and indeed, GMC had used 287 CID, 316 CID and 347 CID Pontiac V8s in '55-'57 (same displacement as the Pontiac car engines). I'm wondering if the 336 CID engine used in '58-'59 was just an oddball version of the Poncho V8 that was used exclusively in GMC pickups...
