I e-mailed the Chevy store asking about a possible Camaro concept diecast, and this is what I got... My e-mail: Their resopnse: So... we'll have to keep an eye out!

The picture above was taken at my BPG dealership this past Sunday. They've had these flags out there for atleast a year, if not longer. Does anyone know where these flags can be ordered from? I've tried Pontiac Mall and the similar GMC website with no luck. I'd like to get the Pontiac flag ASAP if possible, as I think current GM-licensed Pontiac collectibles may be hard to come by once the lights are turned off at Pontiac. I will definitely ask my dealership when I take the wife's G6 in for service next time if no one here has any leads for me. I figured I'd ask here first :AH-HA_wink:

You guys might have missed these, as I only saw them recently in the cereal aisle. There are 9 cars available, each branded with a General Mills cereal... making these something of a collectors item years from now. I just ordered my own copy, seems as if you have to go through www.Solsticestuff.com, Amazon.com (Amazon Marketplace) or through the publisher's own website (http://www.lammmorada.com) to order it. The cost - $34.95 + s&h. So far every Solstice owner that has bought or received this book has had nothing but good things to say about it. Only one chapter though on the SKY Thought I'd pass along this info, for anyone out there interested in reading about General Motors.

More new finds in the Classics and Ultra Hots lines. Some of the pics aren't the best, because they are quick auto-focus.

I just got both with top up and down its a real nice casting look for it . I would post pics but I dont know how .

This is one of the nicer new castings in my opinion.

Got 5 of these 6, so far.

First several repaints, and notice they removed the blown engine from the bed of the El Camino, and replaced with a tonneau. The blue Camaro is from the mystery car packs, so good luck with that one.

For your viewing pleasure the new release of Greenlight Collectibles. This is Muscle Car Garage Rel. 1-B. The first to use Stock and Custom designations. Of the 12 in this release 6 are GM and 6 are Mustangs. The GM are '67 GTO and the two below.

Not really a current GM merchandise, as I picked this up a couple years ago as a goof. So, as I mentioned in another thread, I have a remote control 1973 Pontiac Bonneville coupe (for some reason I was thinking it was a Catalina before). I picked this up at either Target or Walmart because I would have considered the 1973 Bonneville to be about the LAST GM car ANYONE would make a toy out of. No offense to fans of the '73... its just not as iconic as, say, 50 or 70 other GM models. Unfortunately, it is a donked remote with a wired remote control. Cheesy. I found this on sale at my local Cracker Barrel restaurant. I didn't buy it, as I have a Simpson's clock similar in style to this already. I could however put it in my office, should I decide to eventually. Thought some here might enjoy adding this to their stable of "GM collectibles". :AH-HA_wink:

This is their Pontiac tribute issue..beautiful '61 Catalina 2dr ht on the cover and inside, an article on Pontiac engines through the years, milestone Pontiacs, etc. There is a restoration article on an '83 Riviera T-Type (beautiful car)...

For $4.95 + 2.95 s&h. The photos don't do these justice. Very glossy, very high-quality. I have no idea where these came from, but man...what a deal.

A new release (Vega) and a couple classics I picked up.

After getting an e-mail from the Franklin Mint about a limited-edition, web-exclusive Mercedes gullwing diecast model, I decided to check out their website to see if any new GM models were available. While disappointed that the offerings have been trimmed, they do have the following for sale: 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Hardtop Coupe (in two colors): 1957 Chevy Bel Air "Fuelie": 1956 Chevy Cameo Pickup: I'm particularly interested in the '56 Cameo, as this is the first time a 1956 model is being offered (Franklin Mint has done the '55 Cameo and Danbury Mint offers the '57 Cameo). Now hopefully DM offers a '58, as they have both the stepside and fleetside…

I know that they made a few things Cavalier... I was told that they made a diecast 03 Cav... And a model for the 2000 Cav..and a sunfire too... A few of us are looking in to getting them... I've been looking around, but nothing so far...

I was randomly at Walmart and I saw this. I really didn't want to buy anything... but... I couldn't pass it up. Yep, a Camaro, by Jada. I must say, being able to feel all the lines and view it from infinite perspectives, I have so much more respect for the design.

The new issue of Hemmings Classic Car arrived today..amongst the articles are a buyers guide to the '79-85 Eldorado, with a beautiful yellow '79 Biarritz as the feature car, a black on black 1 of none '69 Olds Delta 88 Royale convertible (incredible), plus lots of other interesting non-GMs (50s Mercurys, '65 Falcon 2dr wagon, a 1920 Dodge speedster, etc.

This issue has an interesting 'factory freaks' article, cars with rare paint combinations, special order options, unusual powertrain combinations. Dark blue w/ red interior '74 Trans Am, '70 Le Mans 4dr w/ 350 and 4 spd manual on the floor, '71 Le Mans Sport 4dr ht w/ GTO appearance package (GTO hood, Endura nose), 455.. A '73 Super Duty Trans Am w/ column shift automatic, delivered in primer w/ red Endura parts (front fascia, wings, flares). A '59 Catalina 4dr sedan w/ 389 tri power. This is out now. It is a repaint of the red first edition from earlier in the year.

Came across this and had to pick it up. Its dated 1992 on the package, prior to my re-starting my die cast collecting. The Corvette reminds me of the Bright Aqua Metallic paint on my Cutlass back then.

So, I hear Norev just put out a 3" (Hot Wheels size) Opel Insignia. Now if only a member on here who is in Europe could pick up one for me...

This is a couple years old. It is an Anson models '98 STS. The hood, trunk and front doors open. The wheels turn also. My interior pic didnt come out, so if I can get a better one I will edit this post to add it.

I found out today that AMT announced at the annual Toy Fair show that they will be doing a 1:25th scale plastic model of the Camaro concept, due out in September.. that's the fastest I think I remember ever hearing about a kit announcement relative to the public debut of a production car or concept car...

In either 1:18 or 1:24 scale. Cobalt SS/SC (preferably yellow) C6 Z06 C5 (preferably blue or special edition) Camaro concept (I doubt it's out yet) 1970 Camaro I'll probably add more, but that's all for now. I don't know much about model cars, but I'm redoing my room, so I'm looking for a few pieces of the puzzle..

Hi guys! My tot (with his love for anything with wheels) has found a car he really, really wants: a Cavalier! We saw another boy with a little yellow cavalier (made by revell) and my son kept telling to give back daddy's car! ( he knows my car is a cav) Now all he wants is one! I've been all over the internet, with no luck yet. I know both Revell and Ertl made them, and they were yellow, and both were part of a tuner series. While I wouldn't mind one, I'm really doing it for my little guy. Since he now points every car that looks like dads, I know he love it! Hopefully somebody may have come across some....

I caught a commercial for this Corvette dollar coin (link) a couple nights ago. It actually looks pretty cool.
