New Audi TT Pics

There have been so many chops of this anticipated car, but this looks like the real thing. Good find. It's ok, but not the icon that the original TT is.

I hope thats not the new TT. It looks somewhat bland compared to the current TT. It would be ok as an A4 based 3-Series coupe fighter, but the TT should be an SLK/Z4/Boxster competitor.

I never liked the current TT, so to me, this is an improvement.

Ditto... the old TT always looked like a jelly bean to me.

It'd make a nice 3-series coupe competitor. I love the greenhouse, and how they're straying away from thick pillars... it's more hardtop coupe'ish.

Geez, did someone think Audi had a deal to buy leftover Chrysler Concord grills or what?

The folks on autoweek's forum seem to think it is a chop. They bring a couple valid points, such as how in the bottom picture there is quite a bit of rear overhang, but in the first it is nearly nonexistent.

In any case, the car to me looks somewhat similar to a Mercury Cougar.

I always thought of it as a longer beetle. Just plain YUCK!

The Cougar was ahead of its time, and it's a shame no one ever bought one. If they were to make a second generation version, it would share its underpinnings with the Jaguar X-Type/Ford Mondeo.

I was a always a fan of the original TT coupe. It still is striking on the road...turns heads. It epitomized German design. Pure esthetics.

Nice looking car, but ugly if it is the TT replacement. The original is much better. Too much like the ugly Solaris Toyota. That is one Ugly car.

I suspect that is not the next TT...more likely an A4 coupe (the front and rear strongly resemble the current A4 sedan and convertible).
