2007 Ford Everest Pics!

The interior looks pretty good, perhaps a little busy, but good. Hopefully materials feel is on par, too. Still, I don't think it, along with anything else, will beat the Suburban as nothing has the heritage and reputation of the Chevy.

Typical Ford low-buck interior. I think the Suburban will be all over this model.

Low buck? Ford tripled its interior budget on the '06 Explorer, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it for the Expedition as well.

That's also a very poor quality photo to be judging material quality by. Edited by mustang84

As a 2003 Expedition owner the interior does look better but I do feel that GM will win out with their new radios with larger displays and general fit and finish. I really hope that passenger side door panel that is visilble in the picture isn't final since its identical to the current model with those old un-safe window switches.... -bigdave

Its kind of sad, I'd hate to see what they would have produced if they HADN'T tripled their budget...

That's a good observation. If this is three times as good as what they were going to do, just think what would have been made if it wasn't 3x as good.

Hmmm...looks like a different interior and front end than the current Expedition...I presume the Expedition will get the same parts in an '07 freshening? (seems about right...4 years on since the last redo).

LOL Another Spy Shot thread where I end up looking at a Black Canvas blob that could be any one of a number of current trucks on the market. For all we can tell it could be an Escalade ESV.

This will trump the Suburban-the spy shots of the Suburban/Yukon XL/Escalade ESV look too much the same as the current models. They desperately need to gain some width and more third-row passenger and seats-down cargo space. This "Everest" looks alright, save for the front doors-they look like the aging Expedition, not like the F-150 I thought it was based on.

The 'Everest' (I've read elsewhere it will be the Expedition Max) is not based on the F150...it's based on the current Expedition from what I've read.

I am going to have to disagree with you:

"The Expedition will be redone for the 2007 model year, and it will once again be riding on a modified F-150 platform."

Ok...I hadn't read that...I assumed the '07 Expedition would be an update of the current model, which is based on the old F150... ('97). I guess they will be moving to the current F150 platform... Edited by moltar
