Aston Martin Gone by the End of the Year

Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez said he expects parent Ford Motor Company to sell its British sports-car subsidiary by year's end, but the U.S. automaker could retain a minority stake of around 10 percent.

It's weird that Ford's niche brands (AM, Land Rover, and even to some extent Volvo) have really done quite well under Ford's control, yet Ford can't seem to find success where it really matters.

With their structual costs the way they are/were in the NA nobody could be successfull. If their costs are comparable to Toyota's structual costs Ford would be making billions with the current lineup, as lame as it it.I like Land Rover and Volvo, there is some real money to be made with those brands, but the AM is just a distraction even when profitable.
