Camaro Concept in Videogame

The Camaro concept will be featured in the upcoming racing title for XBOX 360, "Need For Speed: Carbon".

All I can say is that it looks very good in video game land.

Here are four screenshots of the car:

Still wouldn't buy a 360...I'll wait for the PS3 and Gran Turismo 5 thank you.

Hey, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit III for PC was the first auto-related game I ever owned and played. I have fuzzy memories associated with NFS. I guess if it won't be available for the PS3 console, I'll be switching systems.

If Carbon becomes an XBox360-only game, I vow never to buy another Need For Speed game for more than ten bucks.

On ebgames/gamestop.. they have NFS Carbon listed for Xbox360, PS2, PS3, Wii, and PC. Obviously PS3 and Wii are coming out later... but it's definately nice to know that us PC gamers won't have to wait a few months for a game to be relased after it's been out on consoles for a while *Cough* GTA, Halo, & others *Cough* Edited by Decka

You young 'un! My first PC car game was the original Test Drive for my Commmodore 128. I remember the Testarossa, Corvette, Porsche 911 and I think a Lotus Esprit. For the time, the cockpit point of view and the graphics were ground breaking.

There was also an F-1 style game for the Commodore...

I'll pass on PS3, to expensive and everyone says that the PS3 specs are only moderatly better if actually better at all. With the exception of blu ray, who cares. My first race game I can remember was Super Monaco Gp for the Sega Genisis, first game I think I played was Combat for the Atari 2600. I think Im going to be picking up Carbon for my 360 now.

Wow... are we seeing some production ready tweeks ot the details?

Bigger foglights? More realistic ride height?

It's STILL a hardtop and I'm sure it will be in production form too.

This car is pure sx on wheels... it never gets old.

My problem with the 360 are 1.) There's no must-have games on it and 2.) None of the games have particularly impressive graphics. Halo 2 on the Xbox had just as good graphics as anything I've see on the 360 so far. As for the PS3, 4 words: Metal Gear Solid 4...yeah baby

Let's all go play with our Wii instead shall we? :P

The graphics on 360 were amazing, at least on Call of Duty and PGR3 when I played them. It was so detailed it was rediculous. The cars looked even more real than in PGR2, and the level of difference in Call of Duty for 360 vs. Xbox was astounding. Xbox had decent graphics, but 360 blew me away... you could see the wrinkles on the guy's hand and the wood on the guy looked about as real as I can possibly imagine in a video game.

Maybe the other games aren't that great, but Call of Duty certianly was amazing.

I bought the game just today (and I'm already some 35 percent finished) and if anyone knows how to get the '09 Camaro, please tell me.

Thanks.

I feel a little dumb asking this, but is the Camaro Concept available only on the Collector's Edition? If it is, I wouldn't mind spending the extra $$, but the Laurel Best Buy didn't have it, and I didn't want to commit to the regular version until I was certain.

But yeah, Carbon's on my shopping list.

Yeah, the '09 Camaro is part of that f@#king stupid Collector's Edition. And, from what I've read, you can't even use the car in Career mode or use it in Autosculpt mode.

I hate EA anymore. Honest to God I do. The only reason I purchased Most Wanted: Black Edition was because the '67 Camaro was part of the package and I thought you could use it in Career mode. I felt like I wasted my money when I found out I couldn't.

I didn't know they they would pull the same $h! for the next installment of NFS.

Like an idiot, I'm still taking the version I have back for store credit so I can get the CE. For twenty more bucks, I get six more cars (two of which are exclusive to the PC and not to any other friggin' platform, like -- I don't know -- PS2?). Yeah, EA, you assholes know the meaning of the word "value," huh?:nono::banghead:

I see...thanks. Which cars are PC exclusive? 'Cause that's the next question-PC or PS2? Best Buy has the Collector's Edition for PC for $39.99 whereas the one for the PS2's $49.99. I think I'll end up going with the PC, since the graphics should be better than the ones on the PS2 and it's cheaper...

There's downloads in addition to the 1970 Challenger and Zonda being exclusives you can download only with the CE for PC.

Maybe I'll buy the CE for PC. Just find it, put it in layaway, and get it this December.

I still think it's friggin' pathetic.

Cap'man, can you hit me up with the link for that?

Screw paying for it. I've already spent forty bucks on the PS2 version. I've already made my donation. I deserve something free for once.

its a long process of the "hack"

Have you ever done it before?

Heard of a program called alcohol 120% ?

first go to http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php and download Azureus then once done install it self explainatory. open it it i might do some stuff and you set it up nothing technical if i remeber.

once you download that open the program

then go to http://www.torentportal.com

in the search thing search Carbon it should come up on the right side of the list look for a green bar then look at the file size it should be 3.95 GB make sure the name was NFS carbon Collector edition by skulltapper

click on it

then click down load this should bring somthing up click ok since azureus will take over and just agree with it

once the file is done google alcohol 120% this should lead you to a page to get the free trial download it then install it. windows will get pissed at you but just ignore it

open 120% it will have a count down then on the left you will see virtual drive click on it then near to top were it says number of drives set it as one

then click ok then exit the program

go to my computers then you should see a new drive there you never seenb before mostlikey to say DVD drive right click it then click mount image then open now use the browse window to find where carbon was intstalled to should be in mydocuments or if you gave it a speacial place to save oepn the file then on the bottom where theres a drop menu click it and select all images. then find the file "NFS carbon.bin" and select it and click open there should be an auto load and it will be like you inserted a disk.

3WBB-HGFK-4CCH-C5MD-XEXW

QEFP-MA2W-MNL8-DKES-KY2C

TWSA-5699-LZVM-KQS2-F9EL

DPQY-KFG5-GBQ9-9T27-QQGD

thers some possible keys to use to install it. once its completed installing

find the place where you saved the game info too then look for a file called

Need_for_Speed_Carbon_Collectors_Edition_Crack_Only-Razor1911.rar

If you have Winrar great just extract it if you dont go to download.com and download winrar

once you get the info extracted copy the icon that looks like the file you would click to start the game not the KEYgen. next delete the carbon shortcut off the desktop if ther is one there then

go to my computers C drive and find Electronic arts then NFS then caron open to where ther is a bunch of files and right click and paste something should come up and say click yes to replace. find that icon that you just pasted and use that to create the shortcut on the desktop

click the icon and start the game. it should work problem free

its easier than it sounds trust me Pm if you have a question

if some else can explain it they can too.

Thanks for the info. Decka also just hit me up with some info.

I've had Azureus for a long time now, by the way. Mostly had it for downloading demo albums (like the 72826 demo from Tool) and certain albums that catch my attention. This is first time I'm using it for a game.

One question: since downloading this on a 56K connection will take a lifetime, let me know the following.

If I purchase a Motorolla high-speed cable modem, can I set it up to replace my 56K modem and keep PeoplePC as my ISP? Do I need a cable provider to use the modem? Thanks.

yeah you would need a cable service provider.

But personally i think DSL is the way to go my DSL is faster than Comcast and WOW's internet in my area. It sends the signal through your phone line so no needing to route another cable in your house. you put these filters on you phone lines so you can use the phone while on the internet. same as cable DSL is on all the time. Forgot to add you would need a DSL modem for that mostly the ISP gives you one or you can rent one from them.

I pay 14.99 a month for DSL and i gett 1.3mbs somtimes.
