Revealed: New Audi TT Roadster

Posted Image

Sheer sportiness, a genuine driving experience plus high power reserves – cue the new TT Roadster from Audi. The open-top sports car retains the distinctive lines of its tremendously successful predecessor, but instils them with even greater emotion, performance and dynamism.

Audi offers a choice of two engines for its new TT Roadster. The 3.2-litre V6 power unit generates 184 kW (250 bhp) and is coupled to the quattro drive system as standard. The 2.0 TFSI engine, which blends turbocharging with petrol direct injection technology, delivers 147 kW (200 bhp) to the front wheels. Both model variants can be ordered with the innovative S tronic dual-clutch gearbox as an alternative to the standard six-speed manual shift.

Ah... So this is the real TT.

A lot more evolutionary than some of the TT photos I've seen previously.

I admired the original TT's styling. So much so that it inspired in me the concept for an entire lineup of compact luxury-sport cars -- at the time of its release.

This new model seems larger in size than the previous TT.

this car is without a doubt hot. what amazes me is that saturn is only a few notches of execution below it on the inside to match this car's classiness, well that and the surfacing on this car spanks just about anything. classy classy classy

Is this one expected to spin out & fly off the road like the original??

I like the basic shape, but the detailing (pervious version) disappoints.

I'm not seeing what's so great about the interior except the color and probably the materials. The exterior is nice, but I think there are better options for the price.
