tama z71 0 Posted October 25, 2006 the interior is so Cadillac
Croc 268 Posted October 25, 2006 yuck. What is that nasty looking paint-spattered plastic doing instead of wood?
Variance 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Don't care for the exterior paint, the diamond stitching on the doors (seats are fine) or the disgusting-looking wood(?). Everything else is fine.
scharmer05 0 Posted October 25, 2006 That awful plastic where the wood used to be needs to go. I really do like the diamond on the seats and I could live with it on the doors.

scharmer05 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I belive that suppose to be a marble or some other stone 208430 Well....it looks like $h! regardless.
pow 106 Posted October 25, 2006 It's okay... at least it gives you something to look at.
Variance 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Well....it looks like $h! regardless. 208432 Literally...with corn.
Bimmer325 18 Posted October 25, 2006 Yikes. That trim looks like the linoleum we replaced in my basement 10 years ago. This interior is about as far from "Sport" as it gets. And what's with the bunched-up carpet in the second-to-last picture?
DetroitNut90 0 Posted October 25, 2006 The diamond pattern definitely should stay...it reminds me of a Bentley. And the exterior's not bad either. But the speckles...I'm not too sure about them.
Gizhost 1 Posted October 25, 2006 The only thing I don't like is the dash trim...been nice if it was wood.
Flybrian 0 Posted October 25, 2006 That "paint splattered $h!," by the way, is polished marble.
Northstar 11 Posted October 25, 2006 I think the marble would look better in person.
big blue 1 Posted October 25, 2006 the interior is so Cadillac 208403 Same immediate thought I had. Although...I kinda like the interior. It's different and the diamond tuck is well...so Cadillac hah. It's kind of rather reminiscent of the 70's Caddys to me.
Paolino 125 1 Vehicles Posted October 25, 2006 Ah, marble... I thought it was the rumored granite they were going to put in the Escalade. I like it--like the diamond pattern, like the marble... think it works well. I think something different like this will catch the attention of others shopping around. 91z4me 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Caddy knocked that interior out of the park! I am not digging the wheels or the lip on the front bumper at all. The new grill looks good as well, just like it does on the 07 CTS.
Variance 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Couldn't they have used good-looking marble like... or...
wjfox 0 Posted October 25, 2006 I agree that if that stuff is real marble they made a bad choice. Unless it looks a lot better for real than it does in these photos. Here it looks like like Uncle Howard and Aunt Helen's cultured marble bathroom vanity from 1972. I'm also not too keen on the diamond tufting. It looks like a return to the over wrought tacky that I hoped Cadillac was leaving behind.
pow 106 Posted October 25, 2006 It might look like a disco glitterball, but I'm starting to like it... It's cheesy in a detailed, high-effort sort of way, and it has to be better than the drab production interior.
jbartley 0 Posted October 25, 2006 i like the chrome and the seat color. not a fan of that gray plastic looking crap, or the floor carpeting...
Nick 31 Posted October 25, 2006 I like it. I'm sure the granite would look a lot better in person.
Croc 268 Posted October 25, 2006 The "ground effects" look tacked on...I dunno I just don't feel it...and yes that marble still looks like Corian.
BrewSwillis 0 Posted October 25, 2006 The trim looks like it was made out of authentic bocce ball material:
