God, I hate to be a nitpicker... but... if you could incorporate a molded-in split bumper effect like the 70 1/2 into your front bumper cover that would complete the look perfectly...

Looks pretty good, but I like the one you posted quite a while back that was inspired by the '70 better.

I'm much more of a fan of the 1st gen. versus the 2nd. but make this a hardtop and I'd be all for it. It's retro in a great way.

BTW: for those who say you can't redesign retro here's proof you can.

5th gen: retro 1967/1968 (2007 & 2008)

5th gen restyle/facelift: 69 retro (2009, 2010 & 2011)

6th gen: you're looking at it pretty much (2012-on)

By the time that gets old the IrocZ will be a clasic and can be the inspiration for the 7th gen.

What happens when the 9th gen comes along? Huh? :P

Wahtever.. make it all original or if need be inject some 4th gen DNA if it's appropriate.

And no, Sixty8, that's not proof you can. :D

So give me proof you can't instead of a one liner. <_<

Plum, I like it. You need a job. Period.

Sixty8 and BV: you two fight like a married couple. http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotflmao.gif http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotflmao.gif http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotflmao.gif http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotflmao.gif http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotflmao.gif

Sorry, but a chronological retro redesign of a car is very, very lame. It concedes you have no good, progressive ideas, so you need to rehash the past again...and again...and again...

So make the car look just like a California Camaro (4th gen.) right? Great solution.

Well, I didn't say that... I just want originality. An evolutionary step rather than looking back to the past. It literally says they aren't creative enough to design they're own style, therefore copying previous designs. And yeah... we all have our preferences. Yours are being met, while mine aren't. Be happy... :P

I'd like to see a modern Camaro without a totally retro front, but I suspect that's what were going to see, so I'll see how it looks I guess. I think that if the 5th gen is retro it ups the chances of their being a 6th gen, because I think they'll make more money off of a retro one (sell more without incentives).
