That looks a lot better being smooth up front (no grill). I cringed when they updated the front to the current front.

Hmm... Well I kinda like the Sunfire with the grill... Especially when the turn signals are removed. I mean, look at this hot compact. Its so hot! :D Too bad they never produced it.

But unfortunately, it wasn't a good car. I just wish they could have transfered the body over to Delta and gave it a new interior. But I guess I'll just have to do it myself one day. :P

Anyways, good chop especially for using Paint.

yeah i saw potential for a corvette or 260 esque front end so i went with it, i might make a cleaner chop later with an actual grill cuz i know you cant leave it at what it is now with the sunfire engine compartment i see what ya mean toni about the gran prix, but taht was the grill being down below the upperbumper line, this is only the airdam no grill under there i like your sunfire bv, but i think that it needs some body between the grill and headlights on this car, and the dual exhaust? im soory but dual on this car is like rice, doesn tappear that way but any car guy would laugh if he saw that i know your gp has quad tips and i thnk thats useless as well id rather have one pipe after tha cat for four cylinders, as regards i thnik i ight buy this car, its being modified right now in my shop, that i now own!!!, and it looks amazing, were widebodying it, moving the headlamps out, removing the grill and putting in a new bettter looking grill sepereate frm teh headlamps, lowering, leaving the wheels for now, sme wheels as in my chop, cutting the wheel wells higher if we have time and the dude whos building it not stisfied with the hieight of the wheel to body, putting in a new exhaust, the whole thing frome block to bumper, new tip, giong out through the side of the bumper well concealed, engine swap though he doesnt know which engine he wants to put in, i said go with a r32 but hes not sure, any suggestoions? options are waaay open with our resources, brand new interior in it, my own doing, basically he bought it stripped down at an auction and hes fixxing it up to sell, he bought the car with company money, and hes fixing it up, his build to sell when hes done, i buy it he gets more money back and so do i, so well seee, itll be insane if i do, becasue then its my descicios but its going my way anyways, alot of the specailty things like interior, exhaust tip, are done by the in house specialist, me, so im happy as shit how its turning out

on a four cylinder? it borders in my opinion and you get better performance nine times outta ten with a single in a daily driver

[post="21517"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]

I only consider it rice if it has 4 tip exhausts or huge exhaust tips, but that's me...

:blink:

First off, that's not a chop... it's an actual concept.

Second, I own a Grand Am, not a Grand Prix.

Third, dual or quad tips on a 4cyl car is not rice. A fart can exhaust is rice... regardless of how many tips it has. And the amount of tips has NO effect on performance. It is the actual exhaust system... the pipes, the muffler, etc. And incase you forgot... my quad tips came from the factory... and you're the first person to call it rice. So... You might wanna get off the drugs... http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/AH-HA_wink.gif

Oh... and if you want to talk about rice... how about a wide-body kit? Yeah... rice. :lol: :D

right i know about the concept i was telling my outlook on the concept, i screwed up on the grand am i know they came from the factory i didnt call em rice, you didnt do em, i also realize that exhaust tips dont affect performance i said nothing about quad tips being rice talk to camaro about that, i said that i think that quad tips are useless, i stand by my statements i made, but again recognizing rice is a lot of personal taste

oh and the widebody kit? its so we can relocate thnigs into the fenders, were not leaving anything stock, were making the engine compartment as bare as possible and putting thngs like ac, intake, fluids, inside the fenders, the rear fenders arent bing touched, i agree most of the time its rice but this is a show car and were making it superclean, youll see its by no means a ricey car, you can say it is, ill disagree, but i wont try to convince you aside from clearing up any misconceptions, the wide body is ultimately so we have more room for engine and cooling, heh soory if i sounded harsh

dual exhaust, ask any auto block manufacturer, even edelbrock for a drivable practical car, you want one exhaust for ever 4 cylinders, i said that dual exhaust is rice on a 4 cylinder and i stand by it, but you cant help what came from the factory, whatever dude, you got a car, thats more than me right now, and i OWN a shop, edit: if i even interpreted your reply correctly im not sure what you said in that last one so be specific im tired from all the SEX i had this weekend . . . . :booyah: Edited by mute

That's true dual... That turbo (or is it SC?) Sunfire concept, my GA, the turbo Solstice, the Miata, the past Sunfire GT, as well as many others don't have true duals. Even so... I want to see proof that true duals will hurt performance. Back to my arguement, if duals on a 4cyl equals rice, then quads on an 8cyl does as well. Because your preferred 1 tip per 4 cylinders comes out to be 2 for a V8. I guess the Corvette is a ricer machine, huh? Same with V6s with quads... I guess just about every V6 powered Pontiac is rice. Same with many other vehicles. Now that's fucked up. 1 tip to me says econo car. Is my GA as well as that turboed Sunfire an econo car? I don't think so. To me, dual says it's meant for compact performance. Quads... well, that says that plus attitude. Useless? Maybe, but I'd rather have them over a wimpy-looking single. And yeah... it may be personal taste... but hey, I can't help it if your taste sucks. :D BTW, even if you are just playing, don't throw stuff in my face. That really pisses me off and depending on what it is, will depress the hell out of me... Like that sex, you dirty little bastard. :lol: :P

Sorry to say, the J-cars are better off dead. I like the original better for what it's worth. It's not a Vette and the 1997 G/P SE sedan front was always very ugly IMO so the resemblance is not a good thing. Just trying to be honest. Do kep posting however. :mellow:
