The "ZR-1" vs. "Stingray" Debate...

There's a lot of speculation on what the "Blue Devil" Corvette's actual production name will be. The two most likely candidates are thought to be "ZR-1" and "Stingray". Well, in preparing for March's Registry Rundown, I came across something that may interest some of you.

First off, GM recently published for opposition both "ZR-1" and 'Stingray" for March 6. So it would seem that they are both just as equally likely to be used as before, right? Well, maybe not.

I also found a second "ZR-1" filing published for opposition for the same date. This filing was for the following:

IC 006. US 002 012 013 014 023 025 050. G & S: metal key rings, metal license plates

IC 009. US 021 023 026 036 038. G & S: sunglasses, sunglass cases

IC 014. US 002 027 028 050. G & S: watches

IC 016. US 002 005 022 023 029 037 038 050. G & S: pens, pencils, notebooks

IC 018. US 001 002 003 022 041. G & S: umbrellas, duffle bags, tote bags

IC 021. US 002 013 023 029 030 033 040 050. G & S: mugs, beverage glasses

IC 025. US 022 039. G & S: Clothing, namely hats, t-shirts, jackets, shirts, sweatshirts

IC 028. US 022 023 038 050. G & S: toy automobiles, golf balls

Since they are prepping the name for some (if not all) of this stuff, could this mean that "ZR-1" is indeed the production car's moniker? I'm still not sure but it seems pretty dang likely to me.
