Spied: Ford Crossover

10 posts in this topic

Spy photographers have snapped the first photos of Ford's new C1 platform crossover, which will get a sporty look similar to the Mazda CX-7. The so-called lifestyle SUV is believed to be based on the Iosis X Concept.

The Iosis-X was first seen at the Paris Motor Show last fall, and Ford'’s European President John Fleming said a production version would come to market in 18 months.

The name of the new car isn't known and the prototype on the photos is still disguised to conceal the final styling. The car has been designed in Europe, and is scheduled for release at this fall's Frankfurt Motor Show.

How many crossovers does Ford need, Jesus.... <_<

focus on your cars now...they have Edge, Taurus X, arent they planning on building the Fairlane....Lets get the Interceptor concept built, lets get a new Focus and not a heavily revised 8 year old Focus....c'mon Ford.... :nono:

I agree with you Delta. Ford and Chrysler need some "GOOD" bread and butter cars, which will put majic in their charmless lineup.

But in Europe they only have the old Escape, and not even the 2008 model.

I understand that, but FOrd of Europe is doing well compared to NA, they need to focus on our home market as a top priority at this point...Ford is too deep in the red, along with Chrysler's woes...the American auto industry is doing worse now IMO than in the last 25 years, yet we have some of the best products out now, at least by recent quality standards among GM, Ford and Chrysler.....we need to go that extra mile and win back market share. Ford needs to start building knockouts.

Ford is getting closer and closer to Hyundai/Kia with their lineup.

All these cheesy mini-crossovers are lame.
