GM Daewoo unveiled the L4X premium sedan which will go on sale in South Korea in August of 2008, in this year's Seoul International Motor Show.

The L4X is powered by a 3.6L Alloytec V6 that produces 258hp(6500rpm) with maximum torque of 34.7kg.m(3200rpm). The L4X boasts a top speed of 227km/h. The L4X is equipped with premium amenities such as rear window curtains, roller blinds, rear-view camera, side-curtain airbags, and a rear seat massager.

Michael Grimaldi, head of GM Daewoo Korea stated," The L4X is a luxury sedan that exceeds the premium benchmark. It drives on a RWD platform which offers maximum comfort and ride quality, and it offers a very large interior space which provides the best experience in driving and its feel".

GM Daewoo also unveiled South Korea's first RWD-based traditional roadster (2-passenger open sports car). The G2X, based on the Saturn Sky and the Opel GT, will go on sale in South Korea in the fourth quarter of 2007.

The L4X will go head-to-head with Hyundai's BH RWD premium sedan and Ssangyong's W200 luxury sedan. It is expected to be a fierce competition and it looks like the L4X won't suffer for its superiority.

Not really. The PA looks shorter. And without the side vents it actually looks a bit different.

An optical illusion. I wouldn't count on that being an actual photo (as opposed to an unofficial photoshop) of the Chinese PA either.

That grille looks awful, but those side vents with the LED turn signals are so cool! :)

I actually like the grille! It, and the hoodpiece just seem to add a little more subtle class to the vehicle that oozes plenty of sophisitcation already.

I agree on the sophistication issue, but I think the Caprice Royale grille would look better.
