He's not the kind of guy I'm attracted to, but I do think he's funny as heck. He's certainly not a "stealth gay" guy, so why shouldn't he be as outrageous as he wants to be. He has quite a few vids on YouTube, and a huge fanbase. Chicks love him, and I was surprised at the number of "straight" guys who post good-natured video responses to his crazy rants. More power to him, I say. He's from a small town in the South, so I'm sure he "stands out". His over-the-top vids are his way of coping with being different. Some of us are very visibly "different", like this kid, and some of us don't have many outward signs. Sometimes I think it's easier for guys like him to find someone to love than for someone like me who is not so obvious. Not whining, just observing.

You have sort of nailed on the head ocnblu. There is part of the problem in the community. It is about acceptance and being accepted. He stands out because he feels he matters. He has to do what he can so he does not become repressed and depressed. He is comfortable with who he is. How many in the community can say that. He does not blend in. I am sure he experiences hate from those in the community too.

I am an outsider too. I do not fit into anyone category. I have been ridiculed too. But it never stopped me from being an individual. That guy still has something to go through too. I just hope he makes it out okay.. They can be cruel in the community. My fear for him is moving to a large city and going buck wild and getting used and abused. I have seen it happen all too often to the younger gay community.
