I'd kill for a panel SS. Even moreso now. Good job, NOS.

Remember when I hated the HHR? I still do. I love the Panel SS though, especially as I chopped it. Ooohwee!

Looks ok, except for the center mounted red X

Imageshack must've had a hiccup yesterday.. it's working fine today!

Looks good except IMO the "mean headlights" look a bit silly since they don't mesh with the rest of the design.

I love he HHR, I really do, but "HHR" is quite possibly one of

the worst alphanumeric names of all time... what a freekin'

dumb name! Heretige High Roof.... c'mon guys.

How about calling it an "Mini-Burban" or a "47-wagon"???

Meh, I'll tell you what looks silly, ridding around in a Chrysler product! :AH-HA_wink:

Or trying to convince people a 20 year old FWD chassis

with new-ish skin is a better car than a new, groudn up

design based on one of the most superior every-man

RWD chassis made in the 21st century... just because

its roots trace back to Australia instead of the EU.

Or better yet, a rental whore Pontiac which is Wrong Way Drive, oddly proportioned, and has a transverse mounted (also wrong way) motor. Then proclaiming it is more Pontiac than the G8. Now that's silly!

No nothing is as silly as a Chrysler or worse yet a Dodge! If I were Cerberus, I would keep Jeep and scrap the rest of that junk. :AH-HA_wink:

Yup... as a self respecting-car enthusiast I would

never take a 2007 Chrysler 300-AWD or a 300C

with HEMI power over a nice, point-A-to-point-B

W-body sedan with Wrong-wheel drive & torque

steer galore and front-overhang-maximus-itis.

I still prefer it over some of the rust buckets I've seen you in. Remember that Oklahoma trip, did you even get out of Massachusetts before it broke down? :AH-HA_wink:

I guarantee I've spent less on the last 12 cars I've bought than the MSRP of your Pontiac.

Guess what my payment is on my Buick? $0 a month for 0 months.

The B-59 is APPRECIATING every day! How's that 60% resale value on your two year old car? :smilewide:

I have no payments either! :smilewide: Your B-59 is appreciating or decaying, it's hard for me to tell. :P

You paid cash for the GP-GXP?

Well then that was a good way to flush $28K down the toilet.

As far as my Buick "decaying"... I'd love to have a "decaying Duesenberg SJ"

those have a water pump failure from time to time too.... as will your Pontiac,

good luck turning your own wrenches on that one... step 1, drop down engine

craddle & front subframe along with the suspension, motor & trans.

You keep telling yourself that with your hopelessly outdated FWD platform. Funny thing is that, while the LH models have already been replaced by the RWD LX cars, the LH is still a newer platform than your archaic W-body.

In fact, all the thing is good for is junk (or Avis, whichever term you prefer) especially once the superior G8 hits the streets.

I always pay cash (well certified check). As far as the maintenance goes, I only keep a car 2 to 3 years, so what, if any maintenance would be needed, other than normal stull stuff like oil changes and tire rotations? Anything else goes wrong it's warranty work, and not really my issue. My next car will be in 2010, Cadillac CTS or CTS-V, since there will be nothing left at Pontiac I would want or even desire by then, if Pontiac is even still around. :AH-HA_wink:

First off enouhg of the Pontiac/Holden bashing... it's played out.

Pontiac is not going anywhere & your bad karma is very sad...

That having been said if you keep your cars 3-years & never

open the hood or do anything post-warranty then please don't

go making fun of a 48 year old 95% original car with 57K miles

needing a water pump... that's a bit silly. Chances are in 48

years no one will even know what the hell a 2007 GP-GXP was

because Pontiac will be building REAL performance cars again!

Pontiac won't be here in 48 years, I just pray to God, GM still is.

Zeta is crucial part of GM's future.

I think we've hijacked this thread enough.
