Chrysler Sebring Coupe

11 posts in this topic

We all know the Sebring isn't pretty but I never took the time to look at the vert with the hardtop up from the side. It is so very ugly. Which has made this a very tough chop. I decided to try making coupe out of the convertible. I came up with two different versions. Which do you prefer? I like 2 the best I think...Both versions are hardtops. Please ignore the fact that the door cutline in Chop1 is off. XD

Not sure if they are done either, but I thought I'd share my progress.

Are you giving 68 weaponry to shag? :P

Good second chop. I have kinda mixed feelings for the first one.

I like the overall profile, but for some reason the nose now looks too stubby.

Not bad chops at all, but you know what they say about polishing a turd...

The first one I sort of gave up on. It uses the original roof, whereas Chop2 uses a roof from another car. I got that stubby feeling too, I did try to fix it but the Sebring is a tough car to work with. I'd probably have a much easer time doing this to the last generation. :P

To fix your stubby front end, keep the overhang the same, just lengthen the fender between the wheel and door, that should fix it somewhat.

The door is way too long, and the roof/greenhouse in the second chop look like they belong on a different car.

I like where you were going with the first one better.

That's the car I was following I posted about in another thread. LOL

Almost any change would be an improvement in the rear, the second one looks alot better to me.

I like the second one a lot...much more than the first one. The second manages to make an already chunky sedan actually look pretty sleek. I could see them renaming the second one "Airflite"
