Sounds like the other driver should have focused more on their driving.

We have beaucoup Focuseses (?) around here. I spose what you're seeing is orange peel, a normal factory paint feature, prolly exacerbated by the relatively flat expanse across the face of the decklid.

My next door neighbor has a silver one. Fortunately it's usually parked with the rear facing our house, which is the better looking end. unfortunately it's a coupe, which looks exactly like the sedan but missing two doors, so it's completely pointless.

They ARE ugly as sin... Ford has been sucking bigtime

in the past two years, many an ugly $h!box has been

released onto the public.

The one new vehicle they have that is handsome and

elegant as anything this side of 1972 is the baby-SUV

Lincoln crossover... MKX I think it's called.

(oh and while we're on the topic...)

I'd like to say that as much as I hate Cadillac's new

alphanumeric-nomeclature Lincoln, as tends to be

thier specialty, has managed to emulate it poorly &

annoyed me even more.

I miss the era when cars were called names, not

codes and acronyms.

nahh, a name implies personality and a lot of newer cars don't have any.

Chris

Amen to that... The last Deville was one by name ONLY.

Or, howabout when people say they own a "sports car"

and after further inquiry it turns out to be a 2dr Civic or

a Ford Probe.... :alcoholic:

For me it's fine as long as it makes sense, like Cadillacs and all the Germans.

Speaking of sports cars, back in the late '90s I used to work with a guy that was always talking about his 'Vette..how great it handled, etc...all good and well, until I discovered it was an '85 Chevette.

At the opposite end, the director of my department at the big telecom company I worked for then drove an early '90s Corvette ZR-1. He as a total assclown and eventually got fired for something or another...
