I hope all Obama supporter's don't think this way...

There are fanatical and/or brainwashed supporters on both sides.

Obama talks a lot about education, and obviously this country needs it.

But doesn't it seem like a conflict of interests, when such stupid people are voting for a candidate who is going to put their stupidity at risk?

That was nothing. I deal with right-wing psychos around here all the time, and I hear much worse. A lot of "I like McCain because I like my guns and I like war" type stuff. Then there is the hypocritical woman who was complaining about Obama being a socialist while buying groceries with food stamps.

The irony RE the Obamanites is that as often as they condemn the stereotype of the 'religious right', they fail to see they're having what amounts to a religious experience themselves, based not on experience or accomplishments, but on 'belief' & 'hope' & 'change' and other smoky nothingness. This woman is not in anyway unusual among BO supporters; remember all the fainting at his early speeches?

Unfortunately i have to deal with both wacko leftists and wacko rightists. Both scare me equally, and it only takes a few minutes before either one gets on my nerves and i start arguing with them.

I did successfully manage to convince one stupid far right winger that socialism was good though.

Stupid saps.

I don't think too many Nazis will be voting for Palin, after all she's a woman. That's almost as bad as being black.Seems to me as an outside observer that a lot of people like Palin because she's more an average Jane than anyone else they've seen in politics, and represents real change far more than Obama. She seems to have lost support from a lot of people though because she seems an average Jane and they think she's out of her depth. But you'd be surprised. I read that a lot of the so-called gun-toting rednecks, real working-class people, are saying it's time you had a woman in charge, a mother who want her son back safe etc. I find it ironic that it was the Bush administration that put more minority officials in charge than any previous administration—African Americans and Latinos in particular. I find it ironic that is was Republicans who were demanding salary cuts for bank executives in exchange for bailouts. I find it ironic that the Republican candidate was asked to join the Democrats not so long ago, and seriously thought about it (actually, we have a similar situation here), but is being criticized for being the same old Republican you've had before.

As for the socialist democrat thing, what you have is a republican administration inaugurating the first stages of Chinese-style national socialism, which the democrats will take to a whole new level. Temporary partial or complete nationalization of major industries is on the way in a style this generation hasn't seen. If, like Conrail and the Swedish banks it is a temporary measure to ensure the government gets its money back, it won't do any harm, but if governments try and actually tell companies what money they can invest and where, like the British did with British Leyland, or the Italians did with Alfa, or the US does with Amtrak, then it will be a dismal failure which could drag the depression on for decades. Don't be too surprised if the new administration says to Detroit "Well, we'll give you money, but we want at least one seat on the board and you'll build what we tell you where we tell you." You may think you've seen pork, but you ain't seen nothing yet.

How about those voting FOR obama because he's black ?? Will you also dub them 'too far gone to be of use to society' ???

I certainly would. Mind you however that part of me wanted to vote for Obama simply to piss ignorant racist fcks off, but that wouldn't be using my mind wisely.

Something these people have to understand is that Obama is NOT pushing a black agenda. A man in the white house whose father is black doesn't mean free rides for all the ghetto folk.

NOTHING SCARES ME MORE THAN VOTER APATHY.

I will take the loonie left or the fantatical right any day over the vast legions of people who don't give a $h! any more. How do you think politicians on both sides get away with what they say? Because half the population has simply tuned out.

I work in a f'ing car dealership and not a single person here gives a $h! about what this city plans to do with tearing down expressways, putting up bicycle lanes on every street and pretty much making it impossible to drive a car in this city. If these people cannot be made to understand that what the socialist nazis in city hall plan to do over the next few years is going to not only erode everyone's way of life, but in particular our own, then what hope is there?

There are times when I wish for a meteor strike so Mother Nature can start over again.

What did she say that was so bad? I love how the video is titled BRAINWASHED OBAMA supporter in big, bold letters, but what she said is mild compared to some of the racist and bigoted garbage coming out of the McCain side. She sounds like the typical voter that is having a hard time making ends meet in this horrible economy. Is it the "touching moment" comment that is raising hairs? I'd take that over the "Jesus will be coming back to save us if Obama is elected" crap from the far right.

Interesting... so if I get you correctly, those who refuse to vote because of race are 'worthless', but those who vote because of race are fine ? Or did I miss you condemndation ?

Way I see it: any decision based primarily on race, whether for or against, is racist. I wouldn't go so far as to dub them "worthless", tho.

Voting to keep someone out of public office due to race is far more vile than voting to put someone in a public office due to race. An entire electorate has to be won over to win a primary, and not everyone who voted for Obama is black (I know this because I voted for him in the primary and I'm about as white as can be) so you cannot say that he got where he is by luring blind faith race voters in. People believe he is qualified to be president and will be a good leader for our country, thats how he beat Clinton in the primaries. People didn't come out in droves to vote for Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton when they ran for president, that leads me to people see Obama as more than a black presidential candidate.

So here you ARE saying voting based on race is still 'vile'. Very good.

Will you not further brand these people "usless' ?? since they are not basing their decision on anything of substance ??

>>"not everyone who voted for Obama is black..."<<

No... but almost~

Clinton : 54% white / 44% black

Obama : 85% black, 15% white

Something was going on there....

You're not 'saying' anything, rather revealing some sort of prejudicial leaning.

State it plainly Gollum.

" I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage"

and

" I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car"

These are crazy statements? Or are they out of context as part of a larger conversation or in response to Obama's plans on mortgages and his energy plan.

Perhaps what this lady meant was that she won't have to worry about $4 gas and she won't have to worry that her adjustable rate mortgage will keep being re-adjusted upward until she can no longer afford the payments.

This is just another pathetic right wing attempt to tarnish Obama. This is like the dirty commercial Elizabeth Dole is running.

Stop with the BS you dirty-trick Republicans!

I think just about anyone with a brain realizes that they'll still have to pay their mortgage. Unless McCain gets elected, because he wants to buy your mortgage then re-mortgage your house, making the government eat the difference.

Who the F&*# decided her rant was relevant enough to

show on air... on a news network?

YES! Exactly... put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I'm worried about the voting machines, Karl Rove, and the Republicans trying to rig the election and scam a win like they did in '00 and '04...they are the masters of dirty tricks and corruption.

How is that possible? You're saying that 85% of Obama supporters are black? Then how is head ahead in the polls unless most whites are not covered in the polls?

Oh my, another baseless and one-dimensional rant. Drilling here is perceived as a panacea for all of the energy requirements of our nation. Truth is; Obama supports a responsible agenda for domestic drilling for oil and natural gas.

You "B.S." comment reveals much of your agenda. I hope that by Wednesday morning that you are very disappointed with the outcome of the General election (which'll likely be litigated by very disappointed Neo-Cons)

Domestic drilling is a stop-gap measure it is NOT a long term plan. Obama's plan include renewable resources like wind, solar and geothermal as well as improving our efficiency to save the oil/energy that we already have.

Additionally, Obama is this Nation's leading advocate for B-pillars in all Domestic and Imported automobiles. For that alone, if for no other reason, I'm voting for Barack Obama for President of the United States next Tuesday.

Have you read the new proposal? He's going to mandate all pillarless hardtops be retrofitted with a b-pillar and have the rear window glued in place.

Supposed to be hush-hush, but I have it on good authority that He is working with none other than Billy Mays on some type of super adhesive toward the purpose that you've stated. A technological advance that will vault the United States into the lead once more. Imagine a substance stronger than Super Glue that will adhere to non-porous surfaces! Truly.
