Audi - November sales up by 0.4%

"FRANKFURT, Germany -- Carmaker Audi AG said today its November sales increased slightly over the same month a year ago despite the global economic downturn.

Ingolstadt-based Audi, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, Europe’s largest carmaker, said it delivered 75,950 vehicles worldwide in November compared with 75,635 in Nov. 2007, a 0.4% increase.

For the first 11 months of 2008, the maker of the sports and luxury cars Q7, R8, and the TT, said it delivered some 920,700 vehicles, up 3 percent on the 893,628 sold in the first 11 months of 2007."
