No SVT Fusion for awhile

from fusion unleashed

"Ford's Fusion SVT strategy is in direct conflict to that of the Chrysler Group. Rather than wait for models to cool off before introducing hotter, more powerful versions, Chrysler followed up the Hemi Charger and Chrysler 300C with SRT versions soon after they were both introduced." :(

LAME.... The PERFORMANCE version SHOULD be introduced when the car is hot; 1) To further promote the cars image and 2) To make it relevant as a package... NOT to prop up sales of an already outdated offering. GM does this crap too; case in point: Trailblazer SS... Nice as it may be, will it really be noticed and will it really prop up sales. ESPECIALLY with the newer, more technological GC SRT-8?

to some degree, GM makes a bit of progress. the Cobalt SS was out RIGHT AWAY.

blame it on the idiots in marketing departments who know nothing about what motivates folks to buy.
