Ford Sales in Europe

2 posts in this topic

I have been searching for weeks on how to find out the sales by country and market share by country in Europe. Anything for Ford, Chrysler, VW, PSA, Renault, Fiat, or the Asians would be helpful. Ford would be a big help.

I found GM's auto sales by country in Europe including market share figures. So, clearly it is a business practice in Europe for at least GM.

If anyone, can help me, I'd appreciate it.

A source for all manufacturers sales in Europe can be found at www.acea.be/index.php/news/news_detail/statistics.

I may have messed something up so you migh just do a google search for ACEA. The results are usually released 15 days after the month ends. It is not a very user friendly site so you may have to go searching around to find the data but it is provided in both excel and pdf formats. It does not give you breakdowns by model but only by manufacturer.

What you will find, if currrent trends stay in place, is GM dropping like a rock but not quite as severely as Toyota. And you will also find Ford is gaining share at a very impressive rate I suspect due to the Fiesta and KA being accepted by the market.
