Revival concept

Recommended Posts

Something I've been working on for a while. A full line of AWD-optional compact and subcompact cars including a sedan, wagon, convertible, coupe utility, hatchback, and fastback coupe.

The design isn't particularly creative, but I tried to pay homage to the source cars while making it modern and not ugly.

eh, not really diggin' it, sorry. :( 2nd to last one looks like a Gremlin. Tail end view at the top looks 80's. Keep working on it, tho, sometimes some minor tweeks are all that's needed to make something like this look 100% better. :)

Were you paying homage to AMC's? I just had an 80's flashback. The designs arent particularly modern. Everything aft the A-pillars could stand to be reworked.

Yes it's an AMC Eagle/Concord/Spirit/Gremlin revival. This is the second version I've done (the first ones are rather embarassing).

It may seem silly but there's something about the late AMCs that's I'm really drawn to. I think they were great in concept even if they were not executed very well.

Any other specific ideas on how it could be improved?

I don't like how the nose slops so severely downwards. I know it's a small car but the wheelbase and midsection could use a stretch to make it look more proportionate.

Keep at it though!
