Well, it's ok. It was a project I did for my Uncle (mostly with leftover materials).

A Concord grape that's older than dirt.

You nailed it on the pergola, definitely not in the budget.

It was a bucks-down job, I had the pavers and the flagstone on hand and they already had the pond (I moved it).

While I can certainly appreciate & respect this kind of hard work,

esp. since I did landscaping throughout college as one of my

many part time jobs, I'm not motivated enough to ever do much

in this way for myself.

The only thing I plan on having in my my front yard once I own a

house is dandelions & a few scary Rat-Rods. The B-59 would be

the one to get garage space.

I want my future home to have nice landscaping like that. I don't want junk or weeds in it...I want it pretty.

I also want it to be set back away from the road with a line of trees obscuring the house and yard from street view. I've thought about this before

Camino, maybe you can answer this. I haven't really done yard work ina while, but I noticed today that in the garden where some flowers were there were hundreds of small winged insects f some kind on them. Is there some sort of pesticide I can use that's inexpensive?

Home Depot is closed so I can't check it out until tomorrow.

I don't mess with the pesticides - that's really a specialty in the industry.

That said, they are probably ants or termites (kings and queens) in a mating swarm.

I'd bet that they will be gone in a day or two.
