LH Meet Photos

So I got to go to my first meet today. Didn't get to take my car sadly, but it was a blast nonetheless and great to get to meet people and see their cars. Of course we all took lots of photos. Since I know you guys all love Chrysler vehicles so much I thought I'd share. :P

You take some good pictures. The 300M is a nice car I always have soft spot for. Too bad it did not come with a manual transmission, otherwise I would get it as a beater.

Its the Endicott Estate in Dedham, MA. It is a beautiful (and public) place. I snagged a photo of it before we left.

Too bad Carlisle is so far away or I'd like to go to both the GM and Chrysler ones.

We're gonna do another little meet once my car is ready to go, and probably do some body work to it. Excitement!

I really like the LH cars to be honest. As front drivers, they were a very good car, the 2.7L V6 may argue that in many cases but still some 2.7L will still go strong depending on how they are cared for as any car. However, the 3.5L and 3.2L are pretty reliable, our 99 Concorde LXi with its 3.2L was a very reliable car, decent in snow, didn't rust at all when we had it as some I have seen have been a different story. I actually do miss our old Concorde as it was peppy, roomy, reliable and very comfortable. I have known these cars very well as they are also built locally to me in the Bramalea Chrysler plant. The one car I can agree on and I still would drive one, is the 300M. I thought they had a very elegant design to them being not a total run of the mill sedan. The 300M Special I have a sweet spot for as well. Also that 500k mile 300M amazes me, yet I am not totally surprised as the 3.5L is a trooper. What year was that one Dodgefan? 2000-2002? And where did he have to drive to, racking up those numbers is also pretty amazing.

It's a 2001 300M. The dude drives all over the place. He racked up like 2,400 miles this past week. :omfg:

It's in amazingly good shape though. You'd never guess it had that many miles on it. The only clues are touched up chips and scratches. Interior's in great shape too.

Yes we do. DF does great work. Wish there was some good way to get more people to our site, there is a lot of talent here.

BTW, DF. Drove to PA this weekend and saw a bunch of cool old cars...my daughter and I had 60+ cool cars on the list we saw.

Thought of you-

40 Dodge panel wagon, project, Primer black-sitting on rt. 30 down by Gettysburg.

Outside of Harrisburg-56 Plymouth 4 door, sweet, teal and white, looked to be in good shape, but unrestored.

Old red 50's Dodge farm truck, still running and in use, Lancaster Amish country.

also:

65 Imperial outside of York, PA. Nice, that blue/green/teal color they had, and all of the chrome looked good.

What looked to be a 65 Letter car 300 in maroon as we got close to Pittsburg, couldn't get close enough to tell.

While Camino and I were eating breakfast at the Hot Spot Cafe, a late 40's tan plymouth pulled up and turned the corner. Looked damn nice from the front, but not so good in the side view. We both thought of you IIRC when we saw that.

The earlier Dart bodystyle is really grwoing on me. Did you see the feature on the 383 4 speed 68 Dart they had in Car Craft? My buddy Dave and I were there when they were shooting that feature.

They shot it right out front of the Alrosa Villa, where rock and roll guitarist Dimebag Darrel was killed.

THAT was a MOPAR to die for...and I'm not kidding. Guy who owned it owned an old Sox and Martin race car as well...one of the nicest guys in the car hobby I've ever met.

Funny thing happened while the cars were on the grass. Some guy in a Malibu Maxx yelled out of his window while driving by "Get off the f@#king grass you bums". This, despite the fact that it's a public place, they hold car shows her on said grass, oh yeah and 3 cops went by over the course of the time there and didn't care.

I have a set of wheels lined up and ready to go once the car gets back. I'm also going to take it to one of their houses and we're gonna make a day out of doing some body work. If we can get teh paint touched up enough to where I feel satisfied with it for a while, I'll have a body shop fix the clear coat issue and that small rust spot on the door frame.

There's also plans to rip out the dash and do an ATC upgrade, evap core replacement, and replace the actual dash (mine has a small crack in it). Oh and maybe setup the automatic headlights.

One of them also knows how to wire up the seat heaters. :smilewide:

What kind of rims do those two silver Dodge's have on them? Both of them are REALLY HOT, and I love the mirrors. DF can you get your's to look like those two?

The Silver one with the 5-spokes has Charger SRT 8 20" wheels on it. They rub a bit apparently but not bad enough to be a problem. The other Intrepid has 300C SRT 8 wheels. Those are actually narrower than the Charger's wheels so they fit perfectly.

Both of them have dual exhaust, and they sound awesome.
