Grille aside; the whole front clip looks distended and swollen, like a misshapen & too-large breast implant.

Think the overall styling will hurt rental/fleet sales much ?

they need to put a nice chrome ring in its fat lip there to give it a lip ring.

And since this is the Mazdaspeed (Excitement!) version, have the grill opening outlined in red, like lip stick.. :)

Yes, they did. Only thing Mazda builds in volume right now that I like is the Miata and the 5.

6 lags behind the Bu, the SUV's I don't like, and the RX-8 is low production.

What they came out with in 09 is what they are staying with, for what I am told.

That being said, methinks my next roadster is going to be a used Solstice GXP.

My God I lost the ability to speak!

Was it not the same guy that did the Solstice Mazda hired to do this and then he quit and moved on? Von Holtzen something.

What is it with the cars from Japan as they all look like bad cartoon cars.

That ridiculous face! It's just not classy. It's overdone...theatrical...cartoonish and silly.

Yep, Franz von Holzhausen. He designed the Solstice, then moved to Mazda where he created the "Nagare" (flow) design theme, seen on this 3. Then Tesla stole him, where he styled the Model S.
