Chevrolet Agile: the official sketches of the model dedicated to South America

published: Tuesday, 28 July 2009 by Lorenzo Corsani in: hatchback Chevrolet Classifieds

Chevrolet has extended the official sketches of Agile model dedicated to the South American market. It will be built in Argentina and will be placed on top of Aveo and Corsa Classic, offering a decided improvement in the design and space available to the passenger than the older models.

The project was founded on the needs of customers in Brazil and Argentina, also inspired by the versatility of the latest crossover no coincidence that the lines are derived from those of the GPiX concept, which is likely to debut after the launch of a 5-door hatchback. Pending the formal submission, which will happen by 2009, we will see if Ford decides to export the Agile (or Viva, as was called for a long time during its development) on other markets.

Chevrolet sketches out forthcoming Agile:

This fall, our friends to the south will have a new hatch to choose from when the all-new Chevrolet Agile hits the market. GM released a few sketches of the new compact five-door ahead of its official unveiling, complete with Chevy's two-tier grille, angular headlamps and a strong shoulder line flowing over the front wheel arches and through to its sculpted haunches.

Doesn't look ugly like most small cars these days....hopefully it arrives to production that way too and a much better car than Aveo!
