Not liking the chrome maybe if it was black chrome or anodized blk. aluminum. Blk. = sport / chrome = luxury, I don't like them mixed but then again I'm a Chevy kinda guy who grew into an Old's guy reverting back to my childhood :chevy::AH-HA:

I dissagree on the chrome comment.

A lower sill strip of chrome adds character and ties in with the front corner openings.

Sport can have chrome....

It could use a nose job...

I think they did pretty well with capturing a true Chevy look.

Think '72 Impala....

Most of the bright work on the 'bu is aluminum save for the bumpers & wheel trim. My Imp was mostly satin or blk,I even put Grand Prix trim rings brushed not polished on the ralley's but then it had a chrome windshield header. I'm old, the 70's burnt into memory.
