MW 1988: Pontiac Bonneville SSE Road Test

When I was a teenager and younger, this was the car I wanted. I was in high school in my senior year when this car came out. That is why I sit back and watch the comments people post here and on other websites. I am sure you are thinking if you liked this car so much, how did you end up with Oldsmobiles? I like Pontiac and Oldsmobile both equally. Oldsmobile offered me the features and the quality build and options I wanted. You could not get a Bonneville the way I wanted it. Pontiac had a distinct sporty image.

9.2 0-60. I know compared to cars of the day it wasn't slow but still. I can't imagine how slow it must have been to drive 80s cars. Except for breifly driving a 3.8 liter 87 ciera, which had a lot of torque for it size, and a mid 90s accord 4 banger which would have probably been faster then the 9.2 seconds to 60 all my other cars have been 8 seconds or less and gotten progressivly faster going to from a v6 alero to a 06 malibu SS to an 05 mustang GT.
