Toyota announces pricing for 2011 Avalon and Sienna with Auto Access Seat

03/04/2010, 3:27 PMBY MARK KLEIS

Today Toyota released pricing for the all-new 2011 Avalon large sedan, as well as the 2011 Sienna minivan equipped with the new Auto Access Seat for ease of access for disabled passengers.

2011 Avalon XLS and Limited

Despite a thorough reworking of the Avalon, Toyota says the entry-level 2010 Avalon XLS base price will be carried over to the 2011 model at $32,245. The XLS also gains several new standard features for 2011. The range-topping Avalon Limited will price from $35,485 – representing a bump of just $200. The Avalon will go on sale starting in mid-March.

As you can tell, Toyota has reduced the number of models from three to two, hoping to make ordering more simplistic and reduce production costs for Toyota. Toyota says that in addition to increasing standard equipment on both trim levels, it also added 40 percent more options and packages for customers to select.

Neither prices include a destination fee of $750.

2011 Sienna with Auto Access Seat

Toyota also released pricing for its Sienna models with Auto Access Seat – a factory-installed one-touch operation extend-able seat that allows for ease of access for those with mobility impairments. The seat can be extended outside of the vehicle through the side sliding doors, and then rotated 90 degrees and lowered to within 19 inches of the ground.

Once passengers get into the seat and maneuver the seat back into the van they can utilize reclining and slide switches which are located on both sides of the seat. Toyota says this will allow for four inches of slide travel and reclining of up to 24 degrees.

The Sienna LE V6 with AAS will start at $35,135 – with the range-topping XLE model starting at $39,445 MSRP. Prices do not reflect an $800 destination fee.

The Sienna with AAS will be available in mid-March.
