I've been lamenting the loss of real SUVs lately. The GMC Terrain looks cool, but with its transverse FWD-biased layout, low stance and chromed out trim, something's missing.

Your task, if you choose to accept it, is to take the Terrain and make a proper off-road ready SUV out of it. If Jeep can do it with those Patriot concepts, why can't GMC? Jack up the suspension, add knobby tires, black out the chrome, and add factory-looking wheel flares. Nothing outrageous, I'm looking for something the factory might build. Who's game? TIA.
