Was your heart crushed when vehicles like the Mercury Sable, Pontiac Grand Prix or Dodge Durango got the axe? Well, fear not - these hot little numbers (and many more!) are still available from dealerships all across the country.

Automobile magazine has detailed a list of eight cars that are still on sale - brand new - even though they aren't 2010 models. And while these vehicles don't necessarily represent the sexiest cars currently sitting on dealer lots, it's probably safe to assume that they're all being offered with substantial incentive packages, not to mention full warranties (we hope).

Click through the gallery below to see high-res shots of all eight rides, and head over to Automobile to read the full details.

The Grand Prix's death preceded that of the Pontiac brand by a full year, its five-decade run ended by the introduction of the G8. And yet, like a body-cladded, buck-toothed ghost, the last-generation car continue to haunt dealer lots into 2010, with a grand total of one reportedly finding a happy(?) home in January.

Grand Prix lost it's cladding in 1997.

My calculator says that's THIRTEEN YEARS AGO.

I thought maybe this article was going to be about more interesting cars that people would be surprised are still produced, like the Delorian.

Maybe I should trade my 04 Grand Prix in on an 09? Nah, I only like the wheels that were offered on the 04's, plus... if I get a new car, it will be a used G8 GT in Sport Red Metallic!!!!

This GP thing honestly doesn't surprise me.

Nope. And honestly...there still has to be a few more "new" ones out there that dealers swapped over to used, so they could get the extra cash from GM. Now they just don't show up on new sale, inventory, etc. reports, I would think.

Same for the Trailblazer, no shocker, they made '09s so naturally there are some, and so on.
