Fiat 500 Logo Concepts

Earlier this week, a Dutch auto dealer plastered the Dodge - rather, Ram - logo on a Fiat 500. It looked pretty bad. Now, Fiat USA is offering Yanks a chance to choose a more conventional logo for the cute little bugger, and thankfully, the mountain mammal doesn't factor into the equation.

Elsewhere, the 500 logo is the horizontally-split numerical graphic at the top. Your job is to let Fiat know which of the five supplementary graphics you think should grace the car. Whether Fiat plans on listening to any of you or using your majority choice anywhere remains to be seen, but as long as it isn't number three then we'll have fun playing. And as Mr. Letterman would advise, please, no wagering. Hop on over to Fiat USA's Facebook page and cast your vote.

They all suck (beyond the numeric).

Too many similar round characters = legibility fail.

Reading my mind. Yeah, I'll take the logo #0 at the top.

Since when is a 'logo' simply a fancy font?

Besides, this is the US, the land where people fall all over themselves for alphanumerics. Just leave it the 500. We don't speak Italian.

The new Mercedes' aren't labelled "See El Ess Five Hundred and Fifty" for a reason.

That's not the MC's logo, that's it's nameplate.

MC's had 'shield' logos.

The dealer in the OP put a RAM head logo on the fiat, not the "RAM" nameplate.

WRT the above fiat choices, #0 I could term a logo- it's stylized enough where it's on the 'fence'; any more and it becomes a graphic rather than numbers. But -legibility aside- #1-5 are all nameplates / scripts.

I believe that's what SAmadei was getting at.

Well the 500 "logo" is it's name as well. IIRC will have Fiat badge on it when it goes on sale here.

Although honestly I think just keeping 500 is fine, but it's a clever idea if they decide to bring the Abarth over.
