First Photo of Hawaii 5-0 Car On Remake Set

This is the first photo of Steve McGarrett's 1974 Mercury Marquis on the set of the Hawaii 5-0 remake, loaned to the show by a former stuntman and leaked to Jalopnik from an inside source.

What a malodorous sh!tbucket.

Reading the comments really cements something home- nostolgia is blind to reality. My God- they're groovin' on the tow truck bumpers !!

Fortunately for me- I have no 'old days' experience/recollections of the cars I favor- that all came about via investigation & a pure eye for superiority. ;) ;) ;)

Very cool...love those '70s land yachts...looking forward to seeing how the movie turns out...

Alas, I didn't see any '70s Mercs in Honolulu in my trips there a few years ago. But Hertz did have Crown Vics w/ sunroofs. Only time I've ever seen them like that.

Makes me miss my '74 Lincoln Continental Executive Limousine, the best (and only) free car I've ever gotten. I'd gladly take its standard length Mercury counterpart for the same price, but not for much more!
