Saab 9-3 Facelift Comes At Paris Auto Show 2010

Saab 9-3 gets a facelift and more economic engines at the Paris Auto Show 2010. The interior design of the Swedish model will benefit from high quality materials.

Saab 9-3 facelift will debut at Paris Auto Show in this autumn. The model will get a look inspired by that of his older brother and will benefit from new and more economical engines. According to the first informations, the fuel consumption will be improved by 12% and the models aerodynamic will be refined. However, the gearbox will have new reports, and the used tires until now will be changed with a new model that, which will provide an additional fuel economy. The rear bumper will have a different form, and the doors will receive new decorations.

Besides the above changes, the model receives a set of 19 inch alloy wheels taken directly from his older brother, along with two new colors. Thus, the customers can order new Saab 9-3 facelift as a brown color and a new silver color. At the interior, the changes will be imperceptible, but some materials will be replaced with high quality components to bring the Swedish model closest to his rivals from the premium segment.

The range of engines of 9-3′s facelift will include both diesel engines that will provide 130 and 150 HP and also 2.0-liter gasoline engine that will provide a maximum of 220 HP. The diesel consumption was reduced by 12%, while their power has increased with 10 and 20 HP. The 1.9 TtiD unit with 180 HP will emits just 119 grams of CO2 per 0.6 mile.
