Edmunds: Japanese First Drive: Honda Fit

The car I had that was the most fun was my '87 Integra with the blazing 113 hp. Even Honda Civics of that era were fun to drive. In contrast, I haven't found low-cost Toyotas to be fun to drive at all.

JUST ABOUT ANY 100HP MICROCAR DRIVES LIKE CRAP

No worries. These things are not meant to be handled anyways. It's supposed to be a" As long as it gets from A to B without breaking down and costs like dirt, the prospective owner won't complain" type of car.

But personally I wouldn't trust it. I've seen too many of them and they feel hollow (that is, the whole class of cars in general).
