C&T 1971: Chrysler New Yorker 440 Road Test

I like some of the fuselage body Mopars, but the NYer here isn't one.

Front fascia is no more upscale than a Coronet, and what's with those valiant-esque hubcaps?

335 HP and it still can't break loose the rear tires while powerbraking ?

I'll take a '71 Sport Fury GT 400 Six-Pack tho.

I like the look of those Sport Furys and the Chrysler 300...probably my favorite design of the fuselage cars is the '70 Dodge Monaco/Polara..too bad Dodge didn't have an R/T version.

Yeah- the '69 Polara I can get behind, with the Super-Lite & Magnesium rim options, please.

'70-71 still have solid appeal/ nice proportions, too... and I admit a weird affection for the '72 as well, but I don't kno why.

Why didn't Dodge have a performance package for the big car ??
