Exotic cars typically end up in the garages and warehouses that belong to wealthy individuals that have a knack for spending excessive amounts of money in order to enjoy exclusivity, luxury and premium products.

It should come as little surprise to the folks who may actually own both a Lamborghini and a Blancpain timepiece that the two companies have teamed up to produce a truly unique special edition Gallardo. Of course, anyone that follows the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series would also know about the two brands and their already existing partnership.

As for the goods on this eye-catching Lambo, this model features a uniquely massive rear spoiler for maximum stability, as well as an engine cover that has optimized ventilation - both features derived directly from the race car featured in the world's fastest one-make series. You will also notice Skorpius wheels with yellow-painted brake calipers and carbon-ceramic composite discs. The entire car is painted in matte black, along with carbon-fiber used to make external components, such as the diffuser and mirror casings.

The interior of the Blancpain Edition carries over the bold contrast of the bright yellow on black found outside, continuing the sporty character of the Gallardo without sacrificing the comfort of the driver and passenger. Every last inch of the interior is finished in black Alcantara with yellow accents and visible carbon-fiber.

Propulsion for this eye-catching Gallardo LP 570-4 Blancpain Edition comes courtesy of the 570 horsepower V10 power unit from the series Superleggera production car – as is the case for the Super Trofeo race car. As denoted by the "-4" in the vehicle's name, this model features all-wheel drive for added traction.

One unique and impressive figure to note is the total weight of just 2,954 lbs – the lightest road-going model in Lamborghini's range. The ultra light-weight attribute of the car is largely due to the use of both exterior and interior components made from carbon-fiber.

Combining the V10 power unit with 5.2 liters of displacement with the vehicle weight of 2,954 lbs means the Blancpain Edition boats a power-to-weight ratio of only 5.18 lbs per horsepower. The immense power and low weight results in a dash from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and hits the 200 km/h (124 mph) mark only 6.8 seconds later, ultimately exceeding 320 km/h (199 mph).
