Not at all... it can be anything from a Radio Flyer wagon in

Hawaii to a International Cab-over in Prince Edward Island.

All C&G members are welcome. Even FWD cars. :)

DetroitNut: Here's your sig., let me

know if any changes are required.

Wow....I feel like such a retard. I sold one of those

S10 crew cab ZR5 in yellow back at Chevy of

Lowell & for some reason forgot that the ZRX even

existed. It's a nice truck, please take no offense, it

was just a stupid oversight.

I'll fix it in a min.

I feel esp. bad since your sig clearly says GMC, not Chevy. :P

Beleive it or not, stickers are in the plans, not quite

there yet to having them printed but we're getting

close.

T!@HT WH1P$ version. 2.0 is underway.

XP needs to pick up his new ride, I need to get my

Super 88 running & SP needs to get a bench seat

in the 'Bu and we will be rockin' the show circuit

bringing home trophies, A-ight!

Mean time if we get stickers printed the cost will

be little to nothing per person if we all pull togeather

to get the club off the ground.

Maybe when I get my 9C1, I'll quit lurking in here.

Hell, maybe I'll start C&G's "Rear-Drive Mafia" to boot. :D :AH-HA_wink:

Hmmm... maybe I should make membership cards with every sign-up that would allow any member to put a few well deserved bullet holes in any random Corolla. :scratchchin::D

rkmdogs, you've got to be kidding about the Brazilian S-10.  You'd seriously rather have that here than the Colorado?

No, I'm not kidding. I think the Colorado looks like a "committe"-designed truck,

and they could not agree!

NOW i'M TALKING ABOUT WITH THE 4.3 V6 here, not the 4!

Just think, one of these with an LS2 5.3V-8.......... wanna talk about

Kick-Ass....!

rkmdogs, but it's still a 1982 S-10 underneath, which had a lot of components lifted from the '78 G-body cars, which makes the brand new Brazilian S-10 almost 30 years old.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind having a first-gen S-10 with a smallblock any more than the next guy, and I love the old RWD G-bodies, but if I'm buying a new truck, I expect a new truck. I don't want a Ranger.

I LOVE the '78-83 G bodies! I've had 2, and wish I had them both back.

In fact, I'm looking right now at some '83-'87 El Caminos, cause I need a

mid-size that can haul occassionaly.

AND...... I like the front end appearance on the Brasilian S-10 way better than

the Colorado.

Then there is the matter of that 5 cyl. wanna-be engine........!!!!

I've had no problemos with mine, 36k miles so far. Last tank, I got 21.7 mpg, I had no hope of doing that well with my last S-10, a '98 ZR2.

The 5 cylinder will be enlarged to 3.7L in '07 and I believe it will be rated for 242 hp and 240 lbs of torque, healthy figures if you ask me.

Damn I gotta gete around to these new sigs soon! Sorry for the wait guys.

Now I had to post this here... with the exception of a 1931 Cadillac V16 Dual Cowl Phaeton and

perhaps a 1932 Duesenberg SJ roadster this is the most awsome car I have ever seen in my

life. It is the DEFINITION of a TIGHT WHIP. I want it, baaaadd.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Volvo-740-V...067138535QQrdZ1

This is a 1986 Volvo 740 Turbodiesel.

This model is from right when Volvo started to add a little luxury to their high-end cars, and the 740 is pretty much the top of the line. It has a lot of nice options including:

-Leather Seats

-Sunroof

-Heated Seats

-Cloth Top

-Power Windows

-Power Door Locks

-Magnesium Wheels

-Automatic Transmission with Lock-Up Torque Converter

The engine is a 6-cylinder turbo, which gives it a lot of power. For a car this big (especially since it's a diesel) it has pretty good acceleration. It has 157,000 miles on it, and if you know Volvos and you know diesels, that's just getting broken in.

A couple other nice points:

-Four good tires: Cooper SLE Touring. They all have about 50% tread left and are in good shape.

-I bought this car form the original owner. I have the original title issued by Jaguar/Volvo/BMW of Cleveland. I have most of the service records, including the entire warranty period certified by the dealership.

-Brand new battery

-Brand new glow plugs

-All new belts, filters, and fluids (except for transmission fluid, which I didn't do.) This includes the timing belt. So you're probably not looking at a lot of maintenance anytime soon.

Runs and drives good. Starts well even in the cold, and sounds really good from idle to high RPMs when it's at normal operating temperature.

This is a used car, obviously, so it has a couple things wrong with it. Nothing major, but I want to be up front about what I'm selling:

-The windshield is cracked. You can drive it and see through it fine but it should probably be replaced at some point.

-The passenger side brake light cover has a piece broken out. You can see it in the picture. The light inside works.

-The finish is in pretty good shape but had a few minor rust spots that I touched up. I think got to them early enough that they didn't do any damage and won't come back. I got a quart of really high-quality matching paint that I'll include with the car in case you ever need to do any more touch-up.

-The interior is good but not great. If you want it to be nice, you should probably put in a new headliner (the cloth ceiling thing), which I think would run you like 50 bucks.

-The A/C doesn't work.
