Carguy 24 Posted August 19, 2005 They should call this the Cobalt Sport and supercharge the 2.4L I4 to 250HP as the Cobalt SS cpe/sdn!! Then put the 200HP 2.0L supercharged from todays Cobalt SS in the AVEO as a Aveo SS!

CSpec 515 Posted August 19, 2005 I thought GM figured out how to make proper seat fabric, but I guess they haven't. Maybe it's a ploy to get people into leather.
balthazar 3,249 Posted August 19, 2005 It's not about 'figuring it out', it's a preference. Believe it or not, there are consumers who prefer fabric... even the above fabric... to leather.
regfootball 359 Posted August 19, 2005 i would like a supercharged sedan option. a supercharged 2.4 with 240hp would be nice in a 6 speed malibu.

[post="523"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] I agree. I like some of the high tech fabrics in some cars now better than much of the leather out there. So many leather interiors looks like vinyl. They should just bring back vinyl. It used to be widely used, infact I think Mercedes still uses it in Europe or at least did up until very recently.
